What Season Are You In ?

What Season of your life are you in.....? Now you may see that is an odd question but let's look at it for a second.
If you have raised kids you know that not only your season in raising them has changed, but your purpose in raising them has changed as well.

You don't raise a 1yr old the same way you would an 18yr old and so on. As there season changes your season and purpose changes as well. We are going thru the " Empty Nest " syndrome rite now. All 3 boys are out and my daughter is just months away.

A lot of our focus has been on raising the kids and being blessed with 5 Grand Daughters and a Grand Son on the way. So not only has our Season changed but also our Purpose. We just recently shut our church down and I've been in full time ministry for roughly 15yrs, My season has changed drastically and not quite sure what my purpose is at this time. Now don't take that wrong...even though I'm searching for purpose and the new season to walk in, it's not necessarily a bad thing but a growing thing.

As I look out my window rite now and see the snow, I hear the wind blowing, and as I look at all the tree's, the leaves are all gone and they look dead, but are they? No they are not, it's a change of season for them and even though they may look dead they are still growing, then when spring hits they will start to bud and produce leafs and new life. They will become a safe haven for the birds, a place of shade for the weary, a thing of beauty to behold. Some will produce more fruit and with it also jobs for the harvest.

So if you feel as though you are in a season of change and feel like a dead looking tree.....know that the new season and new purpose could be just around the corner.....Hold on,,,,Believe,,,,and have hope:)
