After that this window should open:

Click on the + where it says processor power management and then also click on the + where it says minimum processor state and maximum processor state and set all 4 options to 100%, it should look like this, again this is a different language

If you have intel processor scroll up a bit and click processor power management and then again put both options to 100%

now click apply and close

click windows key + r and type temp and delete all the files that are in that folder

Do the same thing but then type: Prefetch, also delete all files in that folder

Good info.

I moved from Windows to Linux and I couldn't be happier. Computer is faster and it does not slow down over time. Plus it is safer, less chances to get infected.

Really? how can i go to linux, and how much does it cost?

The nice thing is, it does not cost anything, Linux is free, created by volunteers all over the world.

The problem is, it may take some technical knowledge to get it installed for the first timers. So if you are new to computers you may ask around who already has Linux installed to help you. The good news is, you can even have both, Windows and Linux installed at the same time on your computer. So you can switch between the two at the boot (at the start of computer)

Linux world is huge, there are hundreds of versions of it. They get forked just like crypro currencies. So beginner has a hard time deciding which one, which flavor to choose. I suggest to try one of the simplest, Linux Mint: ( I suggest Mint Xfce for starters)

https://www.linuxmint.com/

Check some You Tube videos how to install it. You download Iso file, burn it to DVD or USB stick, if burning it to USB stick, use Etcher very simple program:

https://etcher.io/

To try it out, to see how it looks, you can run it right off the USB stick (or DVD but DVD is slower of course). That way you don't change anything on your computer you run Linux off live media.

Thank you so much i will look more into this, awesome that you can have windows and linux at the same time :$

Also, if you are a gamer you may want to reconsider. Linux isn't compatible with a lot of the games that are released mainstream. I hear Ubuntu is great for people new to linux as it has a familiar look and feel. I haven't looked into linux mint or etcher.
