Easter Eggery Part III/ The Search for the Holy Grail
"It’s a board game. My brother gave to me for my birthday. It’s called 'The Search for the Holy Grail'. Wanna play?"
"Yeah. Sounds cool."
"OK. You be Sir Lancelot. I’ll be Arthur. You throw the dice first."
Lancelot: "It’s a 5. That landed me in seacoast town in Cornwall."
Arthur: "My turn. It’s an 8 that landed me Cadbury Castle. OK. Now pull a card from the deck."
Lancelot: "That got me a boat and compass."
Arthur: "My turn at the cards. That got me a torch and the entrance to a cave."
"I’ve heard that finding the Graille was considered a short cut to the spiritual world. Even though the search for it may take a turn or two when the time to reach it was considered it was the quickest way compared to other processes even though distance wise it seemed long. That's why there was such an interest in finding it.
"Kinda like the speed of light? I’ve heard light will take turns and bend increasing the distance it travels but because the speed does not slow down it is still the quickest."
"Yeah. Like on my GPS it gives me different routes. Some routes are longer but because the speed limit is lower it takes longer. While on the longer distance route the speed limit is higher so it takes less time."
"Too bad this is just a game. What if we could actually find that short cut to the spiritual world. The Holy Grail.
