Conscious Music you have probably never heard of | #23 | Tripswitch - Geometry
A marvellous and profound dive into sonic microverses of a unique calibre, Tripswitch's Geometry is both melodic and unconventional at the same time, layering memorable leads and atmospheres into a coherent auditory journey that is sure to resonate with a lot of people on the lookout for new and awesome music to relax, study or meditate to.
Tripswitch's music could almost be described as "easy listening" though as the name suggests there is a brilliant and non-imposing attitude to the tracks that will wow many first-time listeners as well as those coming back to relisten time and time again.
My journey into psychedelic downtempo genres started with this album for me, back then we listened to it countless times on our first cross-Europe psy travels in 2012 and I gotta say: It's as magnificent today as it always was, and a real pleasure to revisit after a long break.
The music has the potential to enchant people of all ages and music preferences for its uncomplicated structure while its sophisticated sound design and colorful progressions paint vivid imagery of epic proportions, auditory dimensions that are easily entered and hard to escape from once you are settled in. Just like it should be with music ;)
The variety of tracks deliver a pleasant and unworn novelty to the album that creates a unique and rewarding listening experience in a way that sounds as novel and modern as back when it was released in 2010.
While the whole album is a grand experience, I can't help but offer you one of my favorite tracks off the album as a preview - if you dig this style you will likely fall in love with Tripswitch's music as quickly as I have when I first heard it.
The track "Stereogram" remains one of my favorite downtempo tracks to this day and it will send you far if you let yourself be taken away by the music. It's really hard to resist it and why would we even try? ;)
Despite its ease on the ears this album comes highly recommended to take along on your next psychedelic journey as well, just like the name of the project suggests - though a sober listening experience will be just as rewarding. We simply don't hear music like this often in most places which is why I bring this album to you today with great pleasure.

#12 Ott is one of my favorites among others you have listed there.
It is nice to hook up with someone else who likes this type of music.
You are telling ME ;)
The Ott album is amazing. It's a real pleasure waking up on a festival in the morning and hearing him play the mainfloor to get everyone out of bed and dancing ;) Getting up was never so easy ahaha
wonderful story .. he played in Omaha not far from where I live I regret not making it.
He is on tour so much, and the scene in North america is growing - he will be back soon in all likelihood <3
I will resteem so I can remember you like this music. It seems most people may not or have not heard of it. lol I need to hook up more.
It's the revolution waiting to happen because this music allows people to create their own imagery versus parrotting some corporate label lyrics without substance. At least that's how I see it. Great to have ya in my circle sis, thanks!
