Agreed, people hate you for saying "Hey, nobody cried, nobody died!" not realising that it's way more outrageous when the media / government claims so much and so much (insert occult number here) people died without having actual proof than when autonomous individuals like us are saying: "As long as you can't come up with evidence anybody died I'll happily assume that there were zero fatalities"...

As for the scruples, maybe it's just easier to employ crisis actors in these staged events as opposed to sacrificing real people – this way they won't have to deal with annoying relatives asking inconvenient questions...
