SELFISHNESS AS A VIRTUE

Objectivism is a big deal when it comes to morals ,it gives you a different perspective of things and how they stand.
Ayn Rand sees it as a "philosophy of rational individualism" that's where the selfishness comes out. She rejects altruism and says "self sacrifice" is the ideal thing for us to adopt. For many years people have seen selfishness as something which hinders growth but Ayn Rand sees different. She sees it as a virtue of which we all must uphold . Why is that? Selfishness is basically placing your interests first.
This is a very wonderful thing come to think of it. The world in which we live in dwells mainly on the success of individual who strive to put their ideas first before others. An example is "apple computers" and "Microsoft" they took the step to put their ideas before others which has impacted the world greatly .

Objectivism looks at people who are achievers who create businesses, invent amazing technologies, and create art and ideas, depending solely on their own talents and on trade with other independent yet successful people to reach their aims.
This is the whole point of selfishness. Without that I believe we Won't get anywhere in the world because we would be depending son people .which means there would be no progress.

yes the main goal here is to create a national debate in Ghana and then hopefully all of West Africa and all of subsaharan africa about Aynn Rand and Rational Self Interest

I want to ask you if you think that we could use Steemit as a way to help the poor communities.
