You are welcome boss

This is yam stem it produce an edible food called yam
In my language we call it ji

Yam is the common name for some plant species in the genus Dioscorea (family Dioscoreaceae) that form edible tubers.

Yams are perennial herbaceous vines cultivated for the consumption of their starchy tubers in many temperate and tropical world regions.

The tubers themselves are also called "yams"

We cannot mention food crops in Nigeria without naming yam, Nigeria produces yam commercially and in great quantity, yet it is also one of the highest consumers of it because it forms parts of most of the Nigerian delicacies and has nutritional values which provides the body with the needed nutrients.

It is one of the staples foods in Nigeria and also highly consumed not just because it is an energy giving food but because it is delicious and can be prepared in different ways.

Yam is mostly cooked through boiling and eaten with sauce, vegetable, palm oil and much more depending on one's choice, it can be cooked porridge, fried and served with pap (Akamu), it can also be sliced into chips, roasted or pounded to be eaten with soup and lots more.

When it comes to food, Yam is one of the food crops that can be used in different ways and still taste delicious and in industries, it can be processed into flour for baking and confectionary.

Yam has a high percentage of carbohydrates which makes it a good source of energy, the presence of dietary fibre in yam aids in digestion and prevents any form of constipation.
