Contest Closed: Five SBD for the first correct answer
When computers were fantasy
There was a time when computers were not even around and people would use other tools to get the job done. There is Five SBD up for grabs to the first Steemian who can correctly name the set of tools in the photos below, which is nearly 120 years old.
Contest closed and well done @felander!
It's a precision parallel set.
That might be a technical term to describe what this is as well TP! Thanks for taking part, I sent you little thank you. ;-)
Hey thanks dude, that's the engineer in me coming out! 😃
Been a really long time since I used a set.
I thought that might be the case TP. The set has been swapped for the mighty pen that created the adventures Sir Percival, amongst other awesome pieces exposing the ills of this world. ;-D
in my language its a passer
but google translate makes a compass out of it and I know thats not it
Its a thing to draw circles
edit 3: apparantly it is a compass drawing tool

I don't know what that is @felander and you need to give the correct name for the whole tool set. Try again.
so it is a vintage compass drawing tool set
Seeing as you have actually described what this is to an acceptable level, I will accept your answer. The correct name is a Drafting Compass Set and your reward of Five SBD has been deposited into your account, well done @felander.
yay I won, thanks a bunch
I have given you my upvote plus normally a trail of 4 more (set that up yesterday with a friend, hope it works)
Thanks @felander and you're most welcome. I respect your perseverance and once again well done.
Unfortunately @felander that is not the name of the complete set. You're warm though.
