IFC Finals Second Round - Conspiracy Theories

Welcome back peoples!
It's been a ferocious battle already so far.
Half of our sweet 16 finals players have been eliminated and.. We're down to eight competitors.

So.. We started out with a scavenger hunt that had some issues because of bad planning which we fixed to make it so that worst case scenario everyone would tie and it would be sort of like a warm up round.

Two people still dropped out of that round, the rest tied.. And then in the tie breaker round, all of those games were decided without the need for a judges vote except for one...

Our #1st place player for virtually the whole season I think? Versus the one who made it in 16th, or technically the last ranking position allowed into the finals. And wow was it close.

We had to go to a judges decision, and I paid to get some extra judges in here as well... And here it is.. The results.

What a battle!

I remember when going into the finals wholeself-in seemed a bit.. Intimidated or nervous that she was going up against the player in first place!

But now look. She is advancing to the next round. Congrats wholeself-in! You earned it!

Wow.. I'm excited for these match ups! All of them look really fierce!
I wonder who will make it to the next round?!

This round is one we have not played before and was approved upon popular vote of the IFC community. The subject of this round is "Conspiracy Theories".

You can enter whatever you please in regards to the subject.

Could be a conspiracy theory you think needs more attention brought to it, or perhaps it could be a fictional short story you create, or a song or even some kind of drawing perhaps.. Or a combination of things! It's really up to you how you want to go about it!

For me conspiracy theories have been a big part of my life, I accept the label of "conspiracy theorist" despite a lot of bad reputation that it gets and don't necessarily see it as a bad thing.

I think it's good to be aware of the different theories and to think about them and the world and try to guess what things might really be like!

I just also think it's really important to understand the difference between what is known as a "fact" and what is a "theory".

There are many facts to be found in the conspiracy theory world, however far too often conspiracy theorists will watch some videos on YouTube or read a book or website or what ever and then think they know for a "fact" that so and so is so and so, like reptilians and such.

Once again, not being disparaging to theories. I appreciate them and try to stay open minded, maybe reptilians do exist, or many of the other far out things many claim.. I just get annoyed when people claim things are facts, that they can't prove.

If you can't prove it, then it's a belief or a theory, that distinction is critical I think and it gets lost a lot.

So let that be a lesson to you I suppose if you want to get my vote for this round.

I love learning more about conspiracies and think it's super important! Though I feel like I can often tell when someone is going beyond their available set of knowledge or saying things in which they can not prove and acting as if they are proven.

Also, just to be clear.. Feel free to go into "conspiracy fact" as well, it doesn't have to be just "theory" only, I think it's great if you sprinkle some facts in there and it could be more powerful if it was based on some facts.

Anyways.. And with that.. Good luck to the remaining competitors in the contest!
