Photo Contest giveaway as a thank you for your support!

in #contest6 years ago

I have reached 1,650 followers! I never would have imagined that many folks deciding to peruse over the posts that I put up, so thank you so much!

As a thank you, I wanted to have a giveaway of SBD: 5 SBD to be more precise. I want to change things up a little bit from the previous giveaways I used to hold. With this one, there is also a purpose.

There are so many accounts on Steemit that I haven't noticed. Not once. And there is so much good content that is out there that I am unaware of. In order to remedy this issue, I am holding a contest to find the best photographers out there, in particular macro photography. I am always looking for new accounts to curate and this seems to be one of the best ways to locate them. So here are the rules to the contest:

1. Post the best macro photography shot you have taken in the comment section of this post.

2. Please do not use someone else's work. There are plenty of bots on Steemit that will locate and downvote you for using stolen work. So again, please don't post something that isn't yours.

3. After 5 days, I will select the winner of the best macro photograph posted in the comments. I will deliberate with a few fellow steemians that I am friends with, as well as others that are not members of our great community. The consensus will be the winner. The winner will be tagged in a comment on this post in five days to let you know that you have won!

Let's have fun with this, ladies and gents! Let's see those photos and good luck to you!

Congratulations to @jclucero on winning the contest! All the photos were phenomenal but the consensus was that your shot with the beetle and ants was the best!

Thank you very much for my award and the realization of this wonderful contest.

I think it's the best macrophotography I've taken.

Good luck to everyone. Regards!

I took this in early June in a turn of the century rose garden that has been open to the public for several decades. I believe this is my best macro photo so far that I have taken.

I found this insect on my wa6 back home, this is probably the best I have in my store.here Is my entry:

Some time ago I played around with retro adapters and focus stacking, which is ok if you use an object like a flower, but not practical for insects or other moving objects. So I did a lot of flowers ;) hard to decide which one is the best...2.jpg
