I especially liked your story too, because it demonstrated how we often are. Free tattoo? Sure, why not? Yeah, that's the same way I got this piercing back in the day. A friend wanted to get into piercing and asked if he could pierce me. I laughed, because I was pretty well pierced up back then, and said, "sure, if you can think of a spot!" Well, he found one, right in front of my neck.
