The steemit content hunt is starting

in #contest8 years ago (edited)

This is like an Easter-egg hunt for those who are familiar with that concept only its for content on steemit.

Below are snips taken of portions of photographs from within posts on steemit.

The object is to find the posts that match these snippets. This is to encourage the opening and perusing of steemit content. I'm not using full photographs or sections of text because these can be googled.

I'm starting of with it being nice and easy, these snippets all come from content under the #science tag

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

Number 4

Number 5

The aim is to find one and then past the link to it with the Number in the comments section. Also paste a link to this challenge in the post you selected so the author can participate.

I will organize a couple of big votes on the winning comments.

Just make one comment here and paste one link please and lets have 5 winners.

Once declared a winner and your comment is upvoted, then go out and take a snip of a photo from some content you like and paste it as a clue below your winning comment here. Then others can go out to find it and perhaps win.

We can keep going with this for a couple of rounds until the comments section gets too messy, then I will start another round in a new post.

Update: lets allow for as many winners as possible, so if you have won this round please step aside for others in the sub-rounds.
Please select your snippet not from an area of the picture that can't be seen before you open the post.

Here is my snippet . It's in the tag Nature. Who will find it?

this is so hard to find!

I maybe made it a bit too hard, keep trying though, I think you can do it!

here is a bigger snippet of the picture, maybe you can find it now, @aashishkandel

but, i think this contest is now over cauz there's already a new one

Excellent, you are a winner... now go and find a post you like from anywhere, not your own please and give us a snippet to work with

any tag? and how old? any age?

You choose, don't make it too hard so that no one will ever find it.

Found NUMBER 2.

and I posted a link to this page on the author' page so they can see.
Thanks for the opportunity :)

Sounds fun. This is taken from an article in crypto. It hasn't been paid out yet.

Here's my snippet: an underrated post in my opinion; the post contains a lot of content and it was well written - you can tell that a lot of effort and passion was put into the post, but it wasn't very well received (perhaps because it was in the beauty tag. So here I am encouraging diversity of content creation and appreciation on Steemit!

Looks like we're down to number five! I found that one too, but I'll honor the OP's request for five different winners. Really enjoyed it though @whatonearth. Great idea!

We'll let this go on for a bit, see how it goes and then start a new set of rounds with modifications. Glad you enjoyed it.

And the posts are how old?

They wont have paid out yet.

Okay. I'll keep digging.

are you looking under the science tag?

Now I realize that Steemit search needs an upgrade.

but the objective is not to have people using search, but actually browsing through the content
