once upon a time
In 1992 I was five years old, in my village there was no electricity, all the houses, coffee shops and environmental security system posts still use umbrella lights, as the picture above, as we called it.
All the houses in my village are still built using boards as walls and nipah leaves that have been assembled are used as roofs.
Each house has three doors, a front door, a middle door, and a rear door. in other words, all the building construction of the houses of the people in my village are the same. at night the lighted umbrella lamps are hung right at the middle door, so that the light can illuminate the whole house.
Along with the turn of the times, finally in 1996, my village has started brightly lit along the road and all the villages' homes, because electricity has been installed. and how sorry this umbrella lamp has now become a classic nuance garden decor.
The good news of this umbrella lamp is, being an antiques that have a high selling value.
sorry if my english is not well, because I translated with google translate
best regards!
I last saw the traditional lamp as in the picture in 1998, it's been a long time ago. At that time in the village, there is not much electricity, so most of us use this traditional lamp. Thanks for sharing buddy.

The Haunted Island.
Once upon a time there was a very beautiful Island. By the beach, there was a very beautiful and big Royal palace older than 200 years old.
Nobody used to come and go by this Island because people believed that there were very powerful ghosts living inside and around the palace.
There was a very popular story about this Island and Palace. Long long ago this Island was Ruled by a very powerful King called Bhasmey. He was so powerful physically and supernaturally that nobody could stand him in a battlefield.Day by day he be became more popular and popular around the world due to his fighting skills and powers.
There was also a very Powerful witch ruling a Big country called Nadigama. She also heard many rumors about this Brave and Powerful King Bhasmey.
One day The witch came to meet the king Bhasmey and offer him to marry with her and rule the world together with their powers. She also threatened to accept the offer or lose his life and people.
But the kind immediately rejected her offer without thinking for a second time saying that he wouldn't marry with a bad witch and lose all his respect for his beloved people.
The angry witch then cursed the King and his whole Island with her black powers and left. And from that day the unrested souls of The king and all people from that Island were roaming there as ghosts.
That is why nobody ever goes there again.
At last Khanks @xpilar . Resteemed and Upvoted as always

Once Upon a Time" tells the story of a persecuted missionary (Grooke) in my town”, one in which fairy-tale missionary and our peoples collide. White man (Grooke) is comfortable in his life as a professional business when he had a call to preach and propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Immediately Grooke responded to the call of the Lord, he was sent to place called “ogbodiyan” near our town, suddenly shows up are traditional worshiper at the king palace to report a stranger that came into the town at the mid-night. Grooke continue his journey without doubt. Few hour after Grooke got to the town and felt tired, he decided to have some rest but unfortunately the small house Grooke enter therein to relax was the town shrine. When Grooke wake up in the morning he saw many graven images felt shocked and fearful but Grooke convinced that who sent him to preach his words is capable of protect him from unknown danger. Grooke decides to stay in that small house at the back of the town pending the time God will lead him.
The Four wings of the “ogbodiyan” town, East, West, South and North is the birthplace of the four powerful traditional religions worshiper. Every country has unique faith systems, however, even in multicultural states, most faith groups live an introverted life under oppression. Not everyone has the compassion over the groups accepted as minorities in various countries as they should be. Missionary Grooke encountering inconceivable persecution, which is increasing day by day. Consequently, He was forced to flee from the small house he abode, all over the town at an accelerating hurting to take his life. 1890 was the "worst year in modern history for missionary Grooke been persecuted as a Christian.
Due to the persecution of Grooke in the ogbodiyan town he moved to next town to continue his evangelism duty, the Oba (King) of that town was seriously sick missionary Grooke was arrested and chained by the Olode (Town Guards) and took to the king but unfortunately when king saw him from the sick bed he was marvel/surprised he order them to unchained him, king talk to him but missionary Grooke was not able to understand what he was saying, when Grooke saw him he pity king condition and pray for him and immediately the king got healed. Everyone was surprised what manner of man is this who say a word and their king got well? King rise from his sick bed and order the servants to prepare him a room to stay in the palace and food. Despite language disparity king was the first person who wake Grooke from the bed, on a fairly tail day king went in the early morning to greet Grooke and missionary replied king in his native tongue king was surprised what is going on, they interact together for many hours, king was the first person to give his life to God of western religion (Jesus) and king built a small church for Grook that is how Grook evangelism began established. Challenges didn’t end there, missionary Grooke face undefined difficulties from the community, confront various challenges on a faithful night Grooke wake at the mid-night to pray and saw burning lighting afar he went near and heard peoples chant! burn! Burn!! burn!!! strange God must leave their land. They went from house to house of those who had converted to Christians threatened them and blasphemy against western religion God (Jesus). Few years later after king death, the town was in great demise, youth die untimely, diseases everywhere and there is no peace in the town again, the so called traditional religion chief performed uncountable sacrifices there was no changes, but the strange of this story is that those who stood with the missionary (converted Christians) were healthy and living fine, some who were convinced that God (Jesus) of western religion is able to help them got converted as well, that is how Christians continue to increase in number and this church was built then.
Church building then at the left you can see the architecture designed right is new building now.

Once upon a time there was a Haunted Castle that nobody lived in. It just sat there empty for a long time, and years. There was talk that an obscure man had entered the stronghold - he never turned out. One day, numerous years after the fact, another man called Sultan entered the château and he lived to tell the story.
Sultan composed a tale about his involvement in the Castle. He expounded on the spooky sounds that he heard, the many phantoms that he saw and about the cobwebs and clean that secured every last bit of the place. In the storm cellar of the palace he additionally found a skeleton.
Not long after this another family moved into town and into the palace. Their name was the Steemian Family. They cleared all the bug catching networks and clean. They enlisted some Ghostbusters to dispose of the majority of the apparitions which additionally halted the majority of the peculiar commotions. Above all they disposed of the skeleton in the storm cellar.
After the greater part of their diligent work they unloaded their bags and settled in. They were a truly decent family. There was a Mum named Julie and a Dad named Max. There was additionally two kids, a kid named Oscar and a young lady named Ashleigh.
They approached play with us frequently, and we headed toward the manor to play as well. It really wasn't that alarming any longer. Since it was altogether tidied up and the garden was planted it really looked entirely decent.
Tragically, one day when the Steemian family got back home there were bulldozers in their front yard and they had just thumped down portion of the manor. Mr and Mrs Steemian were angry. They requested to realize what was happening. They were informed that there was a committee arrange set up to destroy the mansion since it was spooky. It was past the point of no return - they would need to move out.
The Steemian family remained with us until the point when they found another house to live in close-by. We were truly cheerful to have our great companions remaining with us in our home. We are still decent companions right up 'til the present time.
The End.
Good story.
thanks :)

traditional house of aceh people
Spatial houses with various types of functions is a symbol for all people to obey the rules. The existence of the space that serves as private spaces, such as Rumoh Inong, public spaces, such as the front porch, and women's special space, such as the back porch is an attempt to instill and maintain the value of politeness and ethics in the community. The existence of the ladder to enter Rumoh Aceh not only serves as a tool to climb into the house building, but also serves as a boundary point that should only be visited by guests who are not family members or close relatives. If at home there is no male family member, then "abstinence and taboo" for guests who are not close family (read: muhrim) to go home. Thus, reunyeun also has a function as a tool of social control in the interaction of everyday people.
The main door of the house whose height is always lower than the height of an adult, about 120-150 cm, so that everyone who enters Rumoh Aceh should bow, containing the message that everyone who enters Rumoh Aceh, no matter how high the degree or position, should be bowed as a sign of respect to the one who owns the house. However, once inside, we will feel the space is very roomy because in the house no furniture in the form of chairs or tables. Everyone sat cross-legged on the floor. There is also a consider that the door Rumoh Aceh likened the heart of the people of Aceh. It is difficult to enter, but once we enter it will be accepted warmly and warmly.
The ceremony of good ceremony when it is to build a house, is establishing, and after building a house not to show off wealth but is an expression of mutual respect for fellow creatures of God, and also as a form of expression of gratitude for rizqi that has been given by God.
By knowing the values contained in Rumoh Aceh, then we will be able to understand and appreciate the various treasures contained in it. It could be that, due to the changing times, the architecture of Rumoh Aceh changed, but by understanding and giving new meaning to the symbols used, the values that the predecessors were trying to convey.
People's intelligence in addressing the natural condition can also be seen from the form of Rumoh Aceh, which faces north and south so that the house stretches from east to west. Although in its development it is considered as an effort of the people of Aceh to create an imaginary line between the house and the Ka'bah (religious motive), but before Islam entered Aceh, the direction of traditional Acehnese house is already so. This tendency seems to be a form of Acehnese attitude towards the wind direction blowing in Aceh region, that is from east to west or vice versa. If the direction of Rumoh Aceh facing the wind, then the building of the house will easily fall. In addition, the direction of the house facing north-south is also intended for more easy sunlight into the rooms, both on the east side or on the west side. After Islam entered Aceh, the direction of Rumoh Aceh received religious justification. The value of religiosity can also be seen in the amount of space that is always odd, the number of stairs that is always odd, and the existence of a water barrel to wash the feet each time to enter Rumoh Aceh.
Deliberation with the family, asking for advice to Teungku, and mutual cooperation in the process of development is an effort to foster a sense of kinship, instill a sense of solidarity among others, and respect for the prevailing customs. By working together, problems can be overcome and social harmony can be maintained. By getting advice from Teungku, the built house is expected to provide physical security and spiritual serenity.

King Leaving the Palace
Speaking of the palace is certainly the main character behind this magnificent building is the king who leads from generation to generation, and the looming kings who have inhabited this magnificent building.
sorry if the story is too short I told you.
The palace is a large or luxurious building that is usually inhabited by royal families, families of heads of state or other high officials. The word palace is sometimes also used to refer to large buildings that are central to an institution. While the throne or throne is the official place for a ruler to perform ceremonial and state functions.
Initially, he was a Great King, one of the richest sons in the world and under his rule. Like the life of kings, he waxed in luxury. Living in a magnificent palace decorated with gems, gold and silver.
The Sultan advises anyone who dares to interfere with his sleep. As a young king, he was very disturbed by noise, he spontaneously shouted, "What are you doing?" . The bully responds lightly, "Looking for my lost camel!" Heard the answer, almost angry. "Fool, where is your wits?" "How did you find a camel in the attic?" Unexpectedly the bully responds more casually: "So how do you find God in the palace dressed in silk and sleeping with golden sheets!" Hearing a very calm answer, the sultan then fell silent. The strange words from the palace ceiling really touched his conscience; His voice was steady, the sentence clear and the logic very strong, so the whole word became very authoritative and tickled his soul. These words were very thrilling for the sultan. The incident made her very anxious and unable to continue her sleep until dawn came.
He was a king who abandoned his kingdom and walked to live his new life in the royal court. he obtained food from honest hard work until his death in 782 AD M / 165 H. from various records stating that he died as a martyr in a sea expedition to conquer the Byzantine (itali)
