Dont they know that if voting was gonna change anything it would have done it by now?
Just as if prisons were a viable means to end crime.
If prisons and tough on crime was gonna solve something it would have done it when prison was the holding cell outside the arena.

But back to the story, i didnt get to read it all the page kept crashing, but it was some transparancy of local officials.
Apparently the emails show how the cops used fake intelligence to justify more militancy on their part.
You do understand why militarizing cops was always a no-no?
Cops 'protect' the 'citizens', soldiers kill enemies of the state.
When soldiers become cops, the citizens become the enemies of the state.
Now we can argue about duties of allegiances and duties of protection, but scotus has already ruled that cops have no duties to protect.
You cant sue the cops for not keeping you safe.
Therefore, you have no duty of allegience.
You can't be a citizen.
It is impossible, by definition.

The oppression of folk is far more prevalent in the west than in Syria. They bomb them & call it humanitarian aid.
