Hola a todos, espero estén muy bien y sobrellevando esto de la mejor manera posible. Cuidándonos, haciendo y aprendiendo, aprovechando todo el tiempo libre.

Hoy quiero hablarles de unas de las obras más sublimes que tiene el repertorio orquestal, específicamente de cuerda, junto al Adagio de Barber, del cual les hablaré pronto... Hoy es el turno del Cuarto Movimiento de la Quinta Sinfonía de Mahler, el famoso "Adagietto"

Cómo les comenté anteriormente, Gustav Mahler tuvo una vida muy difícil, y eso le ayudó a tener una perspectiva de la vida que sin duda alguna supo reflejar en sus obras, tanto lo bueno cómo lo malo. Básicamente sus obras contienen ambas facetas, dándole una atmósfera muy real. Pues sus obras vendrían siendo la vida misma.

Mahler después de componer sus primeras sinfonías tuvo una época muy fructífera, tanto por sus nuevos logros cómo director de orquesta cómo en su vida privada. Uno de los puntos importantes que podemos mencionar es su matrimonio con Alma Mahler, una mujer que enamoró enormemente al compositor. Y si tienen alguna duda pueden escuchar esta pieza y esas dudas se irán. Sólo perdidamente enamorado es capaz de componer una obra así.

Este movimiento fue compuesto precisamente para su mujer, para su matrimonio. La atmósfera que nos da es de un concepto muy real del amor, la sensación de "mayor" y "menor" se podría comparar con los altibajos de éste, el amor aferrado, amor terrenal y quizás hasta amor celestial.

Hay algo muy importante que me gustaría mencionar ya que se repite en varias ocasiones, que son las 3 notas sucesivas (do, re, mi) con una especie de calderon, de algo que comienza sutilmente y que luego en un pequeño corte, o mejor dicho, suspiro, cae y es allí donde la armonía nos da la sensación de que estamos tocando un piso, que estamos tocando algo y ese algo va fluyendo.

Esta vez no les voy a dejar un video reciente, les voy a dejar un video de hace unos años, específicamente de la Sinfónica Juvenil de Lara (Actualmente Sinfónica de la Juventud Jacinto Lara) en la cual hice parte muchos años, siendo este concierto uno de los más lindos. El concierto fue en el bello Teatro Alirio Díaz en Carora, al cual le tengo mucho cariño por todas las experiencias que tuve allí. Espero les guste! As I mentioned earlier, Gustav Mahler had a very difficult life, and that helped him to have a perspective on life that he undoubtedly knew how to reflect in his works, both good and bad. Basically his works contain both facets, giving it a very real atmosphere. For his works would come being life itself.

After composing his first symphonies, Mahler had a very fruitful time, both for his new achievements as a conductor and in his private life. One of the important points that we can mention is his marriage to Alma Mahler, a woman who greatly fell in love with the composer. And if you have any doubts you can listen to this piece and those doubts will go away. Only hopelessly in love is he able to compose such a work.

This movement was composed precisely for his wife, for his marriage. The atmosphere it gives us is of a very real concept of love, the feeling of "greater" and "lesser" could be compared to the ups and downs of it, clinging love, earthly love and perhaps even heavenly love.

There is something very important that I would like to mention since it is repeated on several occasions, which are the 3 successive notes (do, re, mi) with a kind of calderon, something that starts subtly and then in a small cut, or better said, sigh, it falls and it is there where the harmony gives us the feeling that we are touching a floor, that we are touching something and that something is flowing.

The concert was at the beautiful Alirio Díaz Theater in Carora, to which I am very fond of all the experiences I had there. I hope you like it!
