PaulsRobot3 Dipoles module
Acting out negatively-charged items against matching (usually hidden) positive ones often produces excellent discharges in a PaulsRobot3 Dipoles session. As before, this blog post will detail how the session goes, but to actually run a proper session you should do it from the PaulsRobot3 website after setting things up so you are properly sessionable. This is not an entry-level module. It is again a Rub & Yawn module, but the visualization part (Rub, Visualize, Yawn/Sigh etc) is literally acting out physically. This module is the most FUN one in the PaulsRobot3 tool chest.
Dipoles allows you to address charged polarities. This would usually be a pair of opposites or near-opposites, but not necessarily, as long as there is a potential difference between them. Examples:
- Black/white,
- up/down,
- man/woman,
- create/destroy,
- be filthy rich/be horribly poor,
this kind of thing. There is no provided list of items here, like in some modules. The commands simply address the negative pole and the positive pole of whatever pair you have.
Use a different module for a general topic or life issue
For a general topic or life issue use a general PaulsRobot module like Trio/PaulsRobot.com, HeavyDuty or Morph.
End Point
The End Point for a Dipoles session is the same as the general one for a PaulsRobot session, as detailed here in the section The End Point.
The preliminaries are now out of the way and you're in session. Let's assume you don't have a charged pair yet to address.
OK. What do you most want to be, do, or have in life?"
Take what first immediately comes to mind in answer to the question. Really. Don't question why that thing came up, just run with it. Write down the answer:
- "Be filthy rich!" or
- "Have a lovely family" or
- "Rule the world" or
- "Be the best poker player in town" or
- "Run the next marathon" or
- "Marry Betty Sudson" or
whatever comes up. Be honest in taking whatever comes up — you don't need to tell anyone about it.
On the session report, where you are taking notes as the session progresses, also note an abbreviation for this, even a single letter, to differentiate it from the negative pole when noting yawns etc. Click the link when done.
"Good. What is the opposite of that positive be/do/have item?"
What comes to mind as being the opposite of that be/do/have item? It doesn't have to be exact. The opposite of "Be filthy rich!" is relatively easy; the opposite of "Marry Betty Sudson" might not be so obvious. Just take whatever comes up and seems to make sense. You can always adjust it later if it isn't working out well.
On the next screen you'll begin working on the pair, starting with the negative pole, the one you just decided on. You will be alternating these two commands, back and forth, back and forth, a minute or so apart:
Fair enough. As best you can, embrace the idea of the negative pole of the pair."
Good. As best you can, embrace the idea of the positive pole of the pair."
How to embrace the idea
Embrace the idea of the _____ pole means that, without leaving your chair or doing anything too drastic, get into the frame of mind and body postures that go with the _____ pole of this pair. Wear the identity, the thoughts, the emotions, the attitudes. Keep up with the rubbing while doing this as best you can.
For the negative pole, you would shrink into no-motion and sub-apathy or whatever seems appropriate. For the positive pole, you would also be physically doing the gestures and mouthing the words and imagining the whole scene in the here-and-now as if this very positive stuff were really happening at the present moment.
Must have the two items written where you can see them
Write down the names of the two items clearly and have them where you can see them when running the items, so you don't go off and start running something else by mistake. Mark them clearly on your report for your reference.
Rub continually
Don't fail to rub continually while getting the concept. It is RUB and Yawn for good reason! Rub includes stretching.
Alternate items, one discharge each
Even if you think you can get more yawns off without doing the other one of the pair, alternate them, one yawn for each. It works better like this. Near the end, it may be difficult to even get the idea of the negative one: in this case get off whatever yawns you can. It will often happen that you simply feel too good to continue the session -- that high SUSHI state is completely fine. Simply end the session, get on with life, and when you want another session maybe take up the pair again and see if there is more you can get out of it. Maybe there will be and maybe there won't.
When is the pair flat?
The pair is considered flat when you can rub for a whole minute by the clock while thinking of each item without producing any yawns or other similar clear physical discharge (sigh, uncontrollable laughter etc). If a pair produces no discharge or no further discharge, despite vigorous rubbing for a minute, leave it. This is an arbitrary time limit -- if it seems that there is a yawn coming and it is not quite expressed, by all means do the extra bit of work to get it expressed, but don't continue for ages wondering if anything more is going to happen.
