Cover a Steemian - I am woman by @ingridkornelia

Since I saw your post about covering a Steemian I listened through all of my favorite #openmic entries again I enjoyed them all so much it was incredibly hard to chose.
Then last week I saw the entry of @ingridkornelia and her incredible voice combined with her beautiful lyrics worked their magic.
The song just spoke to my heart. Singing it felt like connecting to the female energy within me. We are cyclic like the moon.
This is my proper 4am moonlight recording. I hope I did it justice.

I will transfer 100% of the earnings of this post to the amazing woman who wrote this song. When I heard her voice first live on the Road junky creativity festival in 2017 (where I also met @chaifm a year before) I was struck and in awe. She carried me away with her fragile strength and the power of her lyrics which feel like beautiful prayers to me. I am so happy that I could motivate her to share them here on Steemit!

Wow @melavie , what a beautiful song! I didn't know about @ingridkornelia , after listening to this I went to hear the original version and was double surprised ! You made it your own beautifully , turned it into a heart melting soft ballad , it was spot-on , i loved it ! I also really liked the original's country-esque vibe, the song is gorgeous ! what can I say! My day just started better off thanks to this :) ! Thank you so much @melavie for this beautiful performance ! and @ingridkornelia .. I'm now a fan of you too :D !
