RE: Many Governors Continue Making Lock Downs More Strict
Meanwhile, if the number of new cases goes up and the number of deaths goes down, mathematically that must mean that the fatality rate is getting smaller. It's simple arithmetic. Smaller numerator and bigger denominator means smaller fraction.
But between July 10 and 11, the CDC raised their best estimate of the fatality rate from 0.26% to 0.65%. It nearly tripled and no one bats an eye.
Apparently, a substantial portion of our society has completely lost its capacity for independent reasoning.
