Cox's Bazar
Authorities have closed a police member for Hensa's involvement with a couple visiting the beach on Cox's Bazar and looking for Kabini Nama to stay for a long time.
The incident took place on Sunday night. Mohammed Qayed Azam, the local resident of Cox's Bazar, went to the beach on a beach with him.
He told BBC Bangla, after a few minutes, a group of three police officers went to visit and asked them if they are husband or wife.
When Azam said that they are husband and wife, the police would like to see Kabini Nama to them. Police said they would be taken to the police station if they could not show the Kabini Nama.
Mr. Azam questioned, does a married couple go around with Kabinnama?
But he did not mean the police. At one stage of the conversation, two relatives came from the house after confirming the identity of Mr. Azam and his wife, the police released them.
He complained that he kept them in for two hours before that.
Later, Mr. Azam wrote a written complaint to the Executive Magistrate of Cox's Bazar.
Additional police super Fazle Rabbi, Cox's Bazar tourist police spokesman, confirmed that an assistant sub-inspector of the tourist police had been closed on Tuesday in connection with the complaint.
He said, an investigation committee has been formed in the context of Mr. Azam's complaint. The police officer who has been charged with the same has been closed.
