Eddie tell us a bit about yourself?
Years of experience in software defined networks as well as big data such as jup and spud plus I have a deep understand in insight into the current trending blockchain technology. At CPChain I’m the development lead and responsible for all parts technical related.

I have about 10 years experience in media and have spend 3 years in North America working with the most influential chinese newspaper locally and most of my job is located in the marketing area.
Dr. Long there are always problems in marketplaces and no doubt you foresaw that, what are some of the core challenges that you saw early on
So there are 3 core problems with current centralised architecture for IoT systems which are:
High operating costs
Isolated data islands
Lack of privacy and security
So CPChain’s 3 part system address this problem and planning for growth in a fast growing category.
Why Blockchain?
Blockchain at the foundation for building a decentralised trust sytem is an enabling technology for the three major issues currently facing IoT:
Cost
Value
Security
IoT infuses the economics valuer of digital transactions in blockchain and the blcokchain provides privacy and security for data sharing for IoT. Why we choose blockchain technology?
First, blockchain can provide a moto trust data exchange platform for devices of different manufacturers and protocols to solve the problems of interoperability and interconnection.
Second, blockchain provides consensus mechanisms for data transitions and realise traceability validation and integrative verification of data set which can greatly enhance the data access sharing and application value of IoT.
Furthermore and most importantly blockchain introduced the data privacy protection and security mechanisms for the open sharing of data.
CPC in a nutshell, what is it?
CPChain is a new distributed infrastructure for next generation of IoT.
So we intend to build a fundamental data platform for IoT systems in combination with distributed storage, encrypted computation, and consensus mechanisms. Providing a whole process solution from data acquisitions, storage, sharing to applications.
CPC is a promising solution to a series of challenging current ‘chimney’ architecture of IoT systems reducing connectivity, cost of devices providing data privacy and maximising value of IoT data.
Tell us about the role of AI, why is it so important to CPChain design?
CPC focuses on multi-party data transitions and IoT big database intelligence decision making applications. So we want to establish multi-factored trust, heterogeneous data interconnections and solve the pain point in the industry, so explosive and innovative business model for new generation of data sharing is built on CPChain and we are an open sharing data infrastructure for general large scale IoT which we will provide security and incentive for data sharing and application.
We don’t know the some of the key features that sets CPChain apart? What makes you comparatively better?
In our deep R&D process with IoT and blockchain technology we finally reached the three part of standout aspect that differentiates CPChain from others:
Parallelised distributed cloud storage architecture
Hybrid consensus protocol
Sidechain consensus mechanism
Eddie, Why are these parts standouts and why do they matter so much?
Compared to IoT data transation data is relatively small scale data set, as we know bitcoin and ethereum focus on small transaciton data. The data on all their nodes will grow like a rolling snowball after years of operation with makes data sync but more slowly.
If the current running mode of bitcoing and ethereum are implemented and make on source IoT data on chan its for sure that blockchain will become overcrowded and unable to operate in a few days. Besides unlike transaction data , IoT cannot be stored on the blockchain in plain text with a high degree of privacy therefore the dta storage, computing scalability and privacy and security issues need to be addressed firstly when using blockchain to achieve efficient sharing of IoT data.
CPChain proposed PDash to implement scalable distributed cloud storage on blockchain storing original data in a distributed cloud storage system with encryption to ensure data privacy. meanwhile recording the original data produces metadata ______ and breaks less by hash computing on blockchain as a credential for data authenticity and integrity furthermore PDash establishes secure and efficient connections between distributed cloud storage data and metadata on the chain by deeply developing distributing ____ encryption distributed hash table, P2P network transmission and decentralised data block technology to achieve safe and efficient data sharing.
Tell us in detail about your Hybrid consensus?
CPC hopes to build a new distributed consensus protocol which overcomes the scalability problem of the tradition Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm and risk of computing force of PoW algorithm. The true ______ protocol is constructed high level nodes are elected to form the committee and then block is quickly added and verified through the large weight byzantine fault tolerance algorithm. Through the reputation evaluation model we regulate the work behaviour of the whole network nodes by designing the effective incentive mechanism reducing malicious behavior ___ of nodes and ensure the stable operation of the system.
Specifically in the first layer of consensus protocol we build the reputation evaluation model by extracting the nodes data stored in the blockchain and calculate the reputation value of the whole network nodes in real time that will design the committee election algorithm based on probability distribution according the reputation value of the nodes.
Finally, determining the membership of members in the second layer of consensus protocol the block generation verification and broadcasting are implemented safely and efficiently in the committee by designing the byzantine fault algorithm based on PDash protocol.
