How to Make a Popsicle Stick Vase

I love making things from items I find around the house. It's the way kids operate too, due to limited funds and yet they have an abundance of creativity at their disposal.

I also remember the old bottle top puppets we made as kids and not only was it fun to make but was also heaps of fun to play with. Times have changed but there's always value in everyday items you'll find lying around the house.

Here I use an old jar and popsicle sticks I painted to make a colorful vase kids can make for Mothers Day.

This same idea can be adapted into a desk caddy for pens and pencils or even artists brushes. Just use your imagination.
