RE: Exploring The Museum Of Flight, Seattle

That seems like a great museum. I never got the chance to go when I visited Seattle, next time.
I've always wanted to see a SR-71 Blackbird. I guess the A-12 will have to do. You are correct, P-38L is a neat plane. A shame they didn't get a Space Shuttle.

I've spent several years in the northwest and this is my first time here. I'd say this one is second to the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy in Washington DC, which has an actual Space Shuttle, and the Enola Gay B-29. The Evergreen museum in Oregon also has a great collection, including the Hughes Spruce Goose.

I went to the space museum near Orlando when I was a kid, that was really neat. They had a lot of space stuff there, but at the time the shuttle I saw would have been a fake.
Hard to believe it's been almost a decade since they stopped. within the next couple of years, NASA should have more vehicles that can take people up. I hope they can do it before the decade.
