Meeting at the Lake

“The lake is a long way from here.”

“Go at once, otherwise you will be late.”

“He did it of his own accord. Why should I risk everything to pull his butt out of the fire?”

“Look, we don’t have time for this. The Boss wants this done, and she wants it done now. The exchange should be straightforward.”

“Why give the triad all those grenades? Why not just let them slit Ruben’s throat?”
