A great year & great Embroidery
The wonderful piece of embroidery you see below was made by my girlfriend's grandmother to commemorate the Millennium. She passed over a short time ago and when I used to see her, she would show me so many different pieces that she had made over the years, she was so creative and so very talented. My girlfriend was given this as something to remember her passion by, and the saying that she embroidered onto it translated into English from Dutch means;

@crosheille has made an initiative here on Steemit to spread needlework art and get it displayed. Sewing, knitting and crocheting seems to have become a lost art, that is until Steemit.
