Letraset Box III

in #creativity6 years ago

I've now made the base for my Letraset box. It's lined and ready for use, except for the fastening. I'm still not quite sure whether to make a fastening, or exactly how to do this.

Anyhoo, the base (sorry for the out of focus photos).

I'd mentioned that if I do a fastening, I'd like it to look this this.

So, could the snap fastener pliers I have be of use?

Unfortunately, the snap fasteners didn't really work in the way I wanted them to. I moved on to the hole punch that I use for leather and card.

I used a compass cutter to cut out the circular discs that sit under the metal ring.

Twine to tie around the fastenings.

So, should I put a fastening on the box or not? Answers on a postcard!

Thanks for having a look, and hope you enjoy!
