He is very hit & miss in his performances and after the Ashes this winter he was low on confidence. I think they were right to drop him but it’s a case of needing to man manage the player.
India created a lot of there own problems against him in 2014. They tried to hit him out of the attack at first, were over aggressive and through their wickets away. They then overcompensated and were very defensive against him and in doing so became passive.
