Crypto markets stable

Thursday, October 23: Crypto markets continue to remain stable, with variations that according to CoinMarketCap are mostly around the percentage point.

Bitcoin (BTC) has risen just 0.08% since the last 24 hours, and at the time of writing this article is traded at $6,487.77. Today the most famous crypto currency in the world reached a minimum of $6,454 and a maximum of $6,506. On the weekly chart the Bitcoin lost about 1.7%, returning to the levels of October 19.

Ethereum (ETH), the second crypto currency in terms of market capitalization, gained 2.95% from yesterday, ending up at $206. The altcoin recorded its weekly record on October 16, when it reached $210.

Ripple (XRP), the third crypto currency in terms of capitalisation, suffered slight losses. The currency is down 0.52%, with a price of $0.46. On the weekly chart, the crypto currency lost about 6%.

The total market capitalization is around $209 billion. Over the past seven days, this value has remained almost stable, reaching a maximum of $212.
The daily volume of transactions is about 10 billion dollars. It seems that CoinMarketCap has removed some crypto currencies from its index: the total number of coins on the portal fell from 2112 to 2056.

Among the currencies of the top 20 stands VeChain (VET), the nineteenth crypto currency in terms of capitalization, up 6.85% with a quote of $ 0.011.
