RE: Finding Comfort in a Crochet Needle: How I've Kept My Sanity

in #crochet6 years ago

@highlyfunctional: SO MANY THINGS!

  1. I want to buy hemp macrame jewelry from your adorable 5-year old self!

  2. Sensory-savant that I am, I'd like to know how the needles' substance (eg. wood, metal, glass) effects your crocheting experience with them, if at all.

  3. You are a farmer. You know that soil can't be 'productive' at all times. Not if it's gonna give back tasty, mineral-rich yields. The same is true for us, sis. It's cool to just sit back, and not do a damn thing, sometimes! Don't worry... no one can EVER accuse you of being a lazy stoner. You actually could be highlyhighlyfunctional, lol

  4. I love this mandala so much. YOUR HANDS ARE A GIFT!

Lol at this whole comment. In regards to the needles I don't use the wood very much partially just due to their size but it makes me feel fancy lol. I'm excited to try glass crochet needles and plan on making knitting neeedles with some of John's ashes for his Nana, who is a knitting queen.

Great metaphor. Sometimes we gotta replenish ourselves in order to be able to grow.
