Steamit-The more Realistic DAO

Although Steamit may not be a 100% autonomous decentralized organization one can’t help to see the similarities between what the dao hub and Steamit are attempting to do.
Both seek to unleashed humanities collective creative genius through mechanisms that allow people to interact collaborate in a fair and equitable way while incentivizing people along the way.

As someone who’s been following crypto for a while now i’ve overlooked Steamit until recently. Steamit came online around the same time as dao hub, I was one of the many people who was fixated on the dao hub with it’s record-breaking crowdfunding campaign while overlooking Steamit. Although the dao hub may still turn out to be wildly successful it appears that steemit may be much more adapted and realistic for the typical Internet user. Although the dao hub is a brilliant idea, the notion that people are going to sit around read and analyze thousands of dao proposals hypothesizing about future ROI’S especially people who might have limited capital in the system might not be as ready for wide adoption as the Steemit. To contrast the steemit platform is much more akin to what most Internet users are already doing by providing user’s a place to share, collaborate, provide insights about whatever user's are interested in.
The cool part is that steemit just found a way to supercharged this process by adding dimensions and elements that internet content has not seen yet.
I love it! i’m excited to see how this platform grow’s and will evolve in the future.
