I currently use Bitfinex and I was pretty bummed out to hear that they are phasing out US customers. I used Poloniex pretty much exclusively last year and earlier this year until I started looking for other exchanges after all of the drama. Bitfinex has pretty neat tools and they offer some coins that Polo doesn't. I now have accounts several exchanges including Bittrex just to spread out my risk.
