Hydro, Meet The Future Of Digital World
Hydrogen is a Platform which aims to be a bridge between developers and blockchain technology. Normally if a company wants to adopt its project with blockchain technology, the company needs to create an infrastructure with expensive charges. Hydrogen Platform offers companies to deploy blockchain technology in their project easily.
Platform has 3 fundamental products. The first one is Hydro. The purpose of Hydro is to let private financial systems to integrate with blockchain technology. The second one is Atom, which construct fintech products with the help of APls. The third one is lon. This product helps a developer to use AI( Artificial Intelligence) and Automated Machine Learning.
Today I want to inform you about Hydro Raindrop which is the initial step of Hydro.
What is Hydro Raindrop?
Hydro Raindrop is an authentication and security service for private systems. Main difference with other authentication servives is Raindrop uses smart contracts and blockchain technology. With this technology Raindrop has big advantages among other competitors such as Google 2FA or Authy.
Nowadays most of platforms don't use 2FA services. Even if they use, they prefer using text messages or mail service for 2FA. But these systems are lack of security. For example if they use text message service, the phone number can be changed by hackers and they achieve user's text code. On the other hand, If a platform use the mail for 2FA, fake website mails can be sent to users.
When you use Hydro 2FA system hackers can't reach your account while your phone is with you. Users will be notified when there is an attempt to login their account.
How Does Raindrop Work?
- Firstly users must download the free Hydro Authenticator App.
- Then they are required to complete one time set up and create an account to enable the program.
- From now on users are able to use the App to log in the websites which are competible with Hydro.
- When a user tries to log in a website, he/she receives a secret code.
- User enters this secret code on the mobile app.
- User clicks the "authenticate" button on the website. And they log in successfully.
Advantages of Hydro Raindrop
- Platform allows people to use private systems with high security.
- Users have seeds to recover. Even if they lost their phones they can recover the account.
- The App is completely free for the users.
- Platform allows private system to interface with a public blockchain.
- Hydro has an independent layer, sits on top and not affect the underlying systems.
