Some pre-cryprotrading advice [from my experience]

in #crypto7 years ago

Okay so you've got your Rands into BitCoin now, and you're ready to start trading

The next steps are to register with Bittrex.com [https://bittrex.com/account/login]
As per usual, just follow the steps until you've got your login details, then login.

In case you're wondering what Bittrex is, it's an 'exchange' - basically somewhere that allows you to trade.
There are other options, but most of us use Bittrex :)

When you're in Bittrex, go to Wallet, click the + sign next to BTC, and get your deposit address [click new address if there isn't one already]
Highlight the address and copy it
Now open Luno, select 'Send", paste the copied address into the send box and send.

Up to 30min later you'll then have BitCoin in the Bittrex exchange, and you're ready to trade :) :)

Now before you trade, take your time to look around...

Here are my 5 suggestions for the crypto trading newbies

  1. Only trade money that you're willing to lose.
Playing with $100 for the first two or three months will help teach you the rules of the game. Only once you're comfortable, bring out the bigger amounts. There is no better training couch than experience and loss.

  2. Don't sell your coins too early. Patience can help you earn huge money. The reason I haven't lost money as yet is from being patient, and also too stubborn to take a loss. Haha

  3. Take note of variables - volume rate, closing rate, the graphs, yesterday's market price...etc, before buying or selling. It's always advised to understand your coins first. A good way to get to know then is to Google their name and read up about them. Ask yourself whether you feel their purpose will serve a need in the future.

  4. Don't waste unnecessary time on trading. 2hrs or 3hrs a day is more than enough.
If you spend more than that on trading it'll give you pressure tension, and you won't make clear decisions.

  5. If you lose money, don't lose hope. Like anything, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose :)

Okay so there's a very quick how to guide on how to start trading your BitCoin.
