When i first heard about the cloud a few years ago, i was like how is information stored in the sky, are there skyscrappers that go up into the sky with databases in them. I was genuinely puzzled
But as time went by i discovered that cloud storage is a model of data storage where the digital data is stored in logical pools, the physical storage spans multiple servers (and often locations), and the physical environment is typically owned and managed by a hosting company.
I really don't like cloud service. I don't want somebody else storing my stuff that can be traced back to me. I think cloud storage is like giving all your stuff to stranger to hold on to. Go to a stranger and tell them to hold on to your files while your not working see if he doesn't get curious about what he is holding.

There are a number of security issues and concerns associated with cloud storing.

  1. Security issues faced by cloud providers
  2. Security issues faced by their customers

Cloud providers are organizations providing software platform or infrastructure as a service via the cloud.
In most cases, the provider must ensure that infrastructure is secure, and that their clients' data and applications are protected, while the customers must ensure that the provider has taken the proper security measure to protect their information.
The extensive use of virtualization in implementing cloud infrastructure brings unique security concerns for customers of a public cloud service. Virtualization alters the relationship between the operating system and underlying hardware.
The hardware could include computing, storage and networking.
The additional layer of virtualization itself must be properly configured, managed and secured.
The specific concern is the potential to compromise virtualization software (hypervisor). This concern is largely theoretical, but they do exist.
The virtualization layer is managed by a central management console. The central management console has to be rightly guarded. For example; a breach in the virtualization software can cause the whole data center to go down or be reconfigured to an attacker's liking.

New data cloud service providers might find it difficult trying to get a space. They will commit capital to set up the space and this offers leverage. Excitingly enough though, the need for the yearnings for data saving and computational analysis services is rising especially with the advent of AI apps in diverse industries. IAGON is designed as one of the blockchain-based data provider to fill this space.

    By coupling together the blockchain into the needs of the cloud, they can actually solve one of the problems of providing full security for either personal or business data, whether you are a small medium enterprise or a private person or even a corporate body. IAGON thought about a second grade in which they can couple what is called ''miners'', or rather users that provide either the storage or the processing power of their computers or even both of them, that can be utilized fully securely and anonymously, and serve variety of companies which need this kind of power, of course rewarding the users or data centers that contribute to the grid with IAGON tokens, and parties that are interested in making use of this cheaper and more secure alternative, can do so by purchasing IAGON tokens, and passing them on to those that provide their services to the grid.
So basically, IAGON unites data centers, owners of servers, owners of personal computers into a sort of grid, like a super computer for two purposes;

    For example, if you have your disk with extra gigabytes, you can make money by renting them out, without risking information on the rest of your disk.

HOW IS IAGON GOING TO MAKE SURE NOTHING HAPPENS TO THAT DATA

Shared Tech
Though cloud data is not shared, the facilities it is housed in are. Though with the right security measures in place this shouldn’t be prove a problem, there is a chance that having a malicious file uploaded to the same server your data is on could affect you, too. It is rare, but it has been known to happen.
Basically, IAGON is solving this issue by using a secure lake technology that distinguishes your machine from the processing by creating a virtual machine on that which will enable the complete distinguishing of the data and the content.

How does the process happen;
  • They first take the user's file that is to be uploaded, they then encrypt it with a military grade encryption . This completely modifies the structure of the data and the content because it is encrypted, they then break it down into many small fragments. So if there were to be any virus or any risk of malicious software within the file that the user is trying to upload or distribute, it's going to disappear because the technology ensures that even when information systems are breached in anyway,the data and files that they use cannot be accessed, deleted or modified anyway.

In June 2016, the decentralization organization The Dao was hacked, resulting in the theft of more than 50 million U.S. dollars of Ethereum, and many more. Its a huge step forward that IAGON gives a great concern to security
In regular lake technologies as we have them today, once a hacker has access to the database, (s)he can do whatever he/she likes. But IAGON’s Secure Lake Technology uses a “freezing” method in encrypting, slicing and distributing the data lake files to prevent access. Through this method, files can be encrypted to prevent just about anyone from accessing files in the database. The only person who can modify, delete or access the data is the person who uploaded it and has the private key. Alterations ranging from change, like associations are impossible. The secure lake technology ensures for no modifications or whatsoever.

THE MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHM

This performs as a mediator between the requests and the miners. Whenever a request is sent to the IAGON platform then the machine learning algorithm sends blocks of data over to the miners so that they can process and find matching signatures necessary for data processing.

THE BLOCKCHAIN AND MINERS

The Blockchain and Miners
This acts as the central processing system of data. The miners receives the data blocks from the machine learning algorithm to process data within these blocks, then they send the data blocks as well as the outputs that are required for the machine learning to identify the nodes, are sent for validation process to the blockchain network.
The Blockchain brake down these data blocks into blocks and then send these across the nodes. Then the SHA258 is used by the hashing algorithm to hash each block with its previous hash for creating a chain. The received data output from an individual node is matched against the hash of its source block and then validate against its header for determining the validity of the output. Thus the blocks are being validated through a systematic network system and the outputs the nodes will receive remain authentic. But, if any kind of manipulation detected within these data, which has been done by an individual miner then the system will reject the returning block and then it will send to a different node for processing. With this, every miner can receive incentives for their every successful data processing. The more data they process the more incentives they can get.

ENCRYPTION/ DECRYPTION PROTOCOL

This is more like the security of the system, it ensures the storage of data within any internal or internal platforms.
Basically, this protocol ensures that the data are being stored by maintaining maximum security within any internal or internal platform storage. This has created IAGON system a unique one among its kinds. The encryption is necessary for ensuring the security of data and as the decryption is required to unlock the encrypted data to its original state.

  • Ensure proper physical security of electronic and physical restricted data wherever it lives.
  • Lock down workstations and laptops as a deterrent.
  • Secure your area, files and portable equipment before leaving them unattended.
  • Don't leave papers, computers or other electronic devices visible in an empty car or house.
  • Shred sensitive paper records before disposing of them.
  • Don’t leave sensitive information lying around unprotected, including on printers, fax machines, copiers, or in storage.
  • Laptops should be secured at all times. Keep it with you or lock it up securely before you step away -- and make sure it is locked to or in something permanent.
    Because Georgechuks wanted to protect his private information, he applied all these techniques but still got hacked and lost the privacy of those information.

While Frank having read about IAGON and saw its benefits, applied the points raised and also stored his data with IAGON but never reported any case of being hacked, and was even given an opportunity to educate others on the real deal which is IAGON.

It’s key attractive features include very low fees, enhanced data safety and the incorporation of tangle that fast tracks the processes to make up for the shortcomings of Ethereum Blockchain congestion. It can be also be said that the IAGON has a unique architecture with help of AI, Blockchain and encryption and decryption process of data.
