OK so it's not breaking news that people got rich off of cryptos. But I think a new round of crypto millionaires are about to be made in the next six months. Here's the reasoning behind my speculation....

If any of you are current or former penny stock traders I'm sure you'll remember the perfect storm that created the opportunity of a lifetime in tax season 2014 that occurred in the marijuana penny stock market. Semi legit pot stocks and scam penny stocks alike soared in winter 2014 and there were 3 things that set up this perfect storm.

For those of you who don't know

• 2 US states, Colorado and Washington state had just legalized recreational Marijuana and a handful of other states were proposing either medical or recreational legalization. This helped promoters create hype around whatever stock they were pumping at the time (whether the stock was legit or not). One such promoter "the wolf of weed street" (real name Jason Spatafora) managed to help some penny stocks go from 0.00xx and some $0.000x to anywhere from 4-50 cents ($0.40-0.50). Do the math and think about how big of a gain that is.

• The movie "Wolf of Wall Street" came out December 25, 2013, sparking a wave of newbie investor / traders to enter the market...more specifically the penny stock market in hopes of becoming millionaires. This was right before tax season 2014.

• And if that wasn't enough, US citizens began to get their tax refunds in late January 2014

This perfect storm created the opportunity of a lifetime (that I mostly missed out on because I was late to the party). These 3 events gave birth to monster rallies. 10 baggers were common (10x profit on one's investment) and there were even a few, if timed right, that were 100-1000 baggers. Houses were paid off. Millionaires were made. Times were good. Then things started to settle down a bit.

Enter late 2017: Cryptos are becoming more mainstream by the day. Everyone from hedge fund managers to the average Joe are starting to come to Jesus as far as cryptos are concerned. Money is already pouring into the market. And in about 5-6 weeks, Americans will start getting their tax refunds.

I believe in January we will see a significant if not epic rally in cryptocurrencies and many will blindly throw their tax money into Bitcoin and other cryptos in hopes of getting rich. Not that it hasn't happened already, but I think this is just the beginning of another wave and we're about to see a wave of crypto rallies start very soon.

So sit back and enjoy the ride! I'm not promising I'm gonna be right, but I have this feeling...
