Elysian Airdrop Tokens Released Next Week
After sorting through the massive amount of fraudulent accounts that participated in the airdrop campaign, Elysian has finally completed this process and will be distributing airdrop tokens next week.
The amount of participants has dropped from approximately 80,000 to approximately 30,000 after removing all fraudulent activity from the campaign, which means that the remaining accounts that participated honestly and responsibly will receive more tokens than originally allocated. The total amount of ELY tokens allocated for the airdrop campaign is 1,000,000 ELY. It was in the best interest of the project to remove all illegitimate accounts in the name of transparency, and also to be fair to those that participated responsibly. Though this process took a few months, it was absolutely necessary and now all aspects are completed and the tokens are ready to be distributed.
Overall the Elysian airdrop campaign was successful and generated a significant amount of exposure towards the project from new community members. Airdrop campaigns can be valuable if operated properly, which in our case meant removing all of the illegitimate activity, which was done over the course of a few months. Distributing tokens to a wide variety of holders is a fantastic way of helping people become familiar with your token first, and then eventually your project. Every successful blockchain ecosystem has a significant amount of token holders and/or users, which are normally advised to hold the tokens for incentives such as rewards.
