How HOPE Might Shine
Crypto on the verge of a break out.
Seemingly yes for this holiday season. Mind you, I only refer to the remnants of early adoption.
Corporate likes Blockchain
We should see happening to crypto what occurred in the corporate world with the realization of blockchain technology.
The popularity of tribes we see today seem to be a bit like the private, corporate blockchains. Their advantage is streamlining the regular operations between companies while increasing trust.
People Like Crypto
It is my opinion that crypto is about individual empowerment. Digital assets are about intellectual property rights. Corporate blockchains, like Amazon Managed Blockchain and the IBM Blockchain, are more about bringing goods to market.
Corporations can do without crypto even if they offer benefits. The mental shift might be too cumbersome to sway a significant portion of that environment. Instead, crypto will be fashionable for suits, until the next generation cannot do without it.
For individuals and personal lives, crypto can become ever more meaningful than social media accounts. It can feel like the digital storage of your photos, videos and other keepsakes. All this with the empowerment to leverage the innovation of the ages.
The Tools to Create
Imagine a world where permissions are a luxury, rather than, what determines life and death. Imagine a world where interest and talent freely produce. Imagine a truly free marketplace, because trust and integrity are now real instead of concepts.
Human beings will still sin. Crimes will still go on. Bad things will still happen. The difference will be that we have better planning and preparatory tools to avoid these things- a sharper blade to carve the bad things out of life.

Yes, I believe that blockchain technology has a very promising future, it may soon be much more widespread and known among most potential users.
A while ago, I commented somewhere that I was what they called a "digital immigrant" because already with the decades that I have of life I entered this virtual world being mature, but a colleague joked to me saying that soon I could say that he was an "immigrant to Blockchain" because it would be this technology that would govern the future. To a large extent I share the opinion of this partner.

You should create the DIE coin for old people. We need more Digital Immigrant Enterprise.
Maybe tied to a use case through an opensource search engine product that mines DIE every time it's written. And... and .. [this is getting good :)] ... if you decide to do KYC on the DIE blockchain, you get bonus [mined] tokens based on your age.
I know this old guy that used to swim around on Whaleshares that started a WISDOM token. DIE sure seems like a way to capture the wisdom of the Yodas of the world.
Ok. The idea itself is interesting. In fact, that the percentage of a promotion is proportional to age is something I saw earlier in a promotion for the sudamerican's southern lands, it worked well in that case.
Now, that of the acronyms is a detail to consider, calling a token as "Wisdom" is not bad, but when talking about elderly people ... but calling it "die" is not something that appeals to me, just One of the things that we become more and more aware of with age is how ephemeral and fragile life is, so death, as a constant companion, becomes an uncomfortable thing that we are feeling closer and closer.
That calling the older people Yoda really makes me laugh :) It reminds me of the first time I saw that old Jedi in the movies for the early years of the 80s.
I was hoping that there would be some humor before the comment closed. I'm with you. We desire and draw strength from inspirational words. Sometimes an elaborate story can inspire new neural links to things that have historically negative connotation.

Sometimes I wonder if this isn't just an illusion. And that indeed blockchain and crypto will allow to enslave entire population even more.

RE the illusion of individual empowerment- I was just thinking about decentralized blockchains beating out the IBM Blockchain (yest that's a trademark), Amazon Managed Blockchain and the like.
RE permissions as a luxury, I meant that there is an increased tendency for the decisions that Amazon, Google and Facebook make that impact life and death. Each of those are permission-based systems, rather than validated blockchains.
Essentially, a blockchain is dependent upon the hardware and know-how of a user, while influencing Facebook requires being employed by the company since Zuck owns the majority of voting rights.
