SMART CONTRACTS ON THE LITECOIN NETWORK?
Litecoin will have another chance to redeem itself during the the month of April, 2018 after its failure to launch LitePay a couple of weeks ago. Litecoin partnered up with ABRA, this financial and technology company that produces peer-to-peer mobile payment, announced a major commitment to Litecoin.

Litecoin has a planned launch of Smart Contracts on the platform. To spice things up more, newest Litecoin partners, Abra would be the first to make use of smart contracts for transactions on Litecoin. The long awaited launch of smart contracts on Litecoin is scheduled for April 13, if there is no further change in date.

That will be interesting developments though . Interoperability can really make bitcoin , litecoin and ethereum a gaint combo . Smart contract , interoperability and instant spend : these are really the future for cryptocurrencies.
And makes the road to mass adoption easier.
