Buddy is a blockchain-based platform to facilitate the development of applications. It has the tools to take care of the redundant, repeated and time-taking tasks of application development.

Buddy aims to provide a support system to developers by automating many of their tasks. This can save a lot of time for developers. In short, Buddy platform is providing a sketch-work for building applications automatically and a developer can spend more time being creative towards design, product, and interface.

History of Buddy

Buddy was created formally in 2015, though the team has started working since 2007. Buddy has already established the partnerships with companies like Google, Docker, Github, Microsoft. The application automation industry has a market share of around $110 billion and predicted to be worth $346 billion by 2022. While Buddy offers an automatation in the develoment process that is resulting in the implementation of the applications with more than 80 crafted automated actions.

Buddy is also opens for third-party developers, enabling them to build their own actions and use them in their own development automation pipelines.

Buddy is looking to build a hub of knoweledge sharing to help developers to resolve their problmes quicker. The shared grid will be similar to a private one except for the security of data. The data has to be not as crucial as it is in private automation grid.

The innovative solutions of Buddy will promote the use of the platform among the developers. Besides many new solutions like Sandbox, DevOps Market, Integration, Grids, it gives a preview to developers for the full application in the test enviornment.

As Buddy helps to resolve the existing problems of the application automation industry and indicates a great potential of this industry, it will be comforting for existing investors and be welcoming for new investors to infuse more funds.
