Paytomat Wallet has become one of the most important products for our company and we put our full effort to innovate and improve by listening to our customers and following the latest trends in the blockchain ecosystem.

Betting on EOS dapps
Early on it occurred to us that having the right strategy to attract a quality user base is just as important as to make a great product itself. We believe EOS had an immense potential and it already has proved that it can attract big audiences. This is a very important sign of a healthy blockchain and one of the reasons we recently announced an EOS Block Producer candidate.

Our latest wallet update introduces full support for EOS dapps and we’re extremely excited to deliver this to our community. No longer need to go to individual dex to put your order in place, you can do it directly in our wallet. If you prefer playing, no worries. You can roll your dice with Paytomat as well. Be careful though, you can lose your shirt while gambling so don’t lose your mind. Fun fact, a lot of dapps have referral programs if you’re into this.

An overall design looks quite straightforward, yet powerful. There’s a new tab now which displays the list of all supported EOS dapps at the moment. When you’re launching a dapp you’ll be notified that you’re opening a third-party application which is an expected behavior. After you log in into the dapp you’ll see your current balance in EOS or specific token(s) this dapp supports. This means you can use your resources to make certain activities within the game or exchange.

Tezos support
As you know, due to various requests from cryptocurreny core teams to add their coins to our platform we created a portal where people can vote which coin to add next. That simplified matters for our integration team and allows them to focus on one coin at a time without distractions.

The first winner of our voting competition was Tezos so there you go. It’s now added to both Paytomat Wallet and Paytomat Core which means you can store and pay with XTZ anywhere you can see ‘Paytomat is accepted here’ sign.

Set up/verification improvements
Typically, blockchain UX is hard. We want to change this by gradually simplifying the most used features in the wallet. One of them is an ability to quickly set up, save and restore your seed phrase. From now on you can easily copy the whole phrase and put it somewhere safe during your initial wallet registration. Restoring process has a similar interface. Just paste your seed and you’ll have yours funds back. Pretty neat.

Turns out, some users prefer shorter seeds instead of the big ones. It is always recommended to use 24 words because it increases your security but you’re the owner of the funds so we let you have 12 words phrases also. Notice, you can only make such a choice during the advanced wallet set up.
