BEWARE!!! – Myetherwallet Security Issues – SCAM!!!
I started to write this post thinking that the message below about Double Authentication for MyEther Wallet was true. It seems to be a SCAM to get your coins. BEWARE!!!
It seems that this wallet is pulling several coins and ETH out of Myetherwallet accounts
We only had a few dollars worth of coins in our MyEtherWallet Account, but this address took them.
I spoke to MyEtherWallet and they gave me this link:

If this has happened to you, email support@myetherwallet.com and there is a link in the page I posted above that has a spreadsheet to all that have been affected. They are meeting with their lawyers today.
BEWARE!!! DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINK TELLING YOU ABOUT DOUBLE AUTHENTICATION UNLESS YOU ARE TOLD TO BY MYETHERWALLET DIRECTLY!!!
Here is a tweet from MyEtherWallet:
Here is the original content of my post.
Many ETH buyers for ICOs are using MyEtherWallet to facilitate their transactions. It is a very useful wallet as it is accepted by almost all ICOs for sending of funds and shows the balance of tokens to be received from the Initial Coin Offerings in the dashboard.
Over the past couple of days, MyEtherWallet has started requiring, or at least according to the ICOs, that users implement Two-factor Authentication. Two Factor Authentication, as you know, makes you take to actions to enter your account. Usually, log in to your account and confirm with code by SMS or very commonly now using the Google Authenticator.
We have received Slack notifications from many of the ICO companies that are in the middle of crowdsales as well as the ones that have completed with this information:
“To all Ethereum Holders:
Due to the increasing number of phishing attacks and holders requests from the ETH network, we decided to implement Two-factor Authentication on all ETH wallets.
Please visit Myetherwallet.com to upgrade your wallet to the new security level.
Please be aware that you will not be able to access your funds, tokens and wallet anymore if the new security protocol is not implemented.
We are taking this measures to protect both you and our network from phishing and malicious attacks.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,
The Ethereum DEV team.”

I really don't understand this. Where would you even find a link like that? And why would you be stupid enough to click a link rather than use your own favourites or manually type it?
Yup!! Sometimes I am the fool.
