A Youtuber named "Ian Balina" who is a crypto currency trader was robbed of $2 million worth of crypto currency" as his account was hacked during a live steaming sharing of his trades on Youtube to help his viewers at trading bitcoins.

“Cryptocurrency Vlogging” is a thing which has exploded in youtube for the past two years where crypto currency experts make videos of their trading to help viewers how to earn or provide tips to get better in trading and making money or where to invest etc.

Iam Balina is a full time trader and made millions of dollars in trading, he shares his screenshots trades on videos to help his viewers to trade. But unfortunately the hackers got to him through his screenshots which allowed them to hack his account and steal away the money from his wallet.

It is estimated that around 122,000 videos related to cryptocurrency are published on YouTube in past 90 days and have got 328 million views.

Youtubers are an easy target because they often reveals personal information in their videos and screenshots like usernames, transaction details and crypto currency addresses which can easily be used by the hackers to break into their wallets.

There is similar story of another trader named "Peter Saddington" who was hacked back in 2017, he says:

Further he blames only himself and said cryptocurency traders are responsible for their own security to keep the money safe. Since it is not controlled by any government or banks that we can whine to say, 'bank my money was stolen, give it back to me'.
