Name YOUR decentralized social network?
We’ll award $125 – $500 in STEEM for a name idea1 that we end up using that wasn’t already one of our ideas listed below. Feedback in the comments section please. Only suggest names for which the .com
isn’t currently in (successful) use.
I’m leading a group that is developing a decentralized ledger and social network.
Please be encouraged to comment about which name ideas you strongly like and dislike. We’re throwing a lot of ideas on the community wall to see what sticks. A correctly decentralized social network should impart some sense of collective ownership and interest in choosing the name.
Please consider resteeming this so I can receive as much feedback as possible from community about the choice of names.
I thought of some name ideas:

Note there’s an advantage for viral spread via word-of-mouth if the token name and the website name are the same.
Existing names for proposed or launched tokenized social networks on distributed ledgers that I’m aware of include: Steem, Minds, Kik (kin
), Yours, (“gift of”) Gab, Ark, LBRY, and Synereo.
A brandable name is unique and memorable enough to standout amongst a see of copycat names.
A name should express what is unique and enticing about the product or service offered.
I want to read your comments about your preferences.

Not everyone will like the same names because people all over the world have different cultures, preferences, and even perhaps prejudices. So by having many types of names for different apps will provide more probability that everyone will like at least one of the chosen names or a subset of them.
MOSH
Perhaps negative to some people but actually expressing insouciant, uninhibited, candid freedom, artistic expression, and playfulness. MOSH is playing into the punk rock, anti-authority, individualistic expression meme. MOSH could be a rebellious, artistic, punk, social name for money. Eminem popularized MOSH as a rebellious and self-expression concept:
mosh
/ mäSH /
verb: mosh; 3rd person present: moshes; past tense: moshed; past participle: moshed; gerund or present participle: moshing
dance to rock music in a violent manner involving jumping up and down and deliberately colliding with other dancers.Origin 1980s: perhaps from mash or mush. Concise of way of saying slam dancing.
To mosh: A way of expressing yourself at an mental rock/punk concert. Almost always done in a “pit” with extremely cool people who you don't even know but they'll look out for you! You get pushed around, shoved, you fall on your ass but it's all in the spirit and you have a f*ckin great time!!!
To those that don’t know of the concept or video, MOSH may connote mush or mash and not it’s obscure, abstract punk meaning. I suspect that MOSH appeals more to males than females. I particularly like it, because I’m rebellious and I like punk and eclectic styles and music. And anything abstract and creative tends to stimulate my interest. Problem is that those who know what MOSH is may on first mention think our website is pertaining to music only. Branding works though if people don’t already associate a product or service to a name beforehand, e.g. I ask anyone what Uber is and they respond “taxi”.

Unglued / Airout / Uncaged
Unleashed from the corporate controlled social networking and medium. Freed from their control over your data, the privacy of your data2 (c.f. also, and the feature limitations, closed source code, controlled narratives, forced subjugation to advertising and propaganda.
As compared to ‘unleashed’ and ‘unstuck’, Unglued is semantically compatible with the token name bits
because when things come unglued they’re in pieces. And it may additionally convey a dissident, nonconformist, politically incorrect, schismatic, iconoclastic, rebellious, artistic, uninhibited state-of-mind (which some may interpret negatively as psychotic). Compared to Unbound, Unglued emphasizes becoming Untied instead of also limitless frontier. Unglued doesn’t have ‘unlaced’’s off-topic association with loosened shoelaces and lack of contamination.
Unglued has another positive meaning coming unglued from traditional mainstream media such as the television. However, some may perceive it and Uncaged negatively or disassociated with the most conspicuous functions of social media and networking. Airout also conveys a dispersed system semantically compatible with the same token names. Airout can be interpreted as “open communication”, and thus a system which fosters freedom-of-speech.

Candid isn’t just about impromptu camera snapshots. The etymology derives from a Latin word meaning white and pure. It signifies genuine, uninhibited, frank, unsuppressed, and unscripted expression in any form including writing.

Juju
If Uber can be branded to associate with taxi service, then Juju can be branded to associate with “charm and magic attributed to” social media and networking and the “amulets” that represent the tokens.
ju·ju
/ ˈjo͞ojo͞o /
noun
1. a style of music popular among the Yoruba in Nigeria and characterized by the use of guitars and variable-pitch drums.
2. a fetish, charm, or amulet of West African peoples.
3. the magic attributed to or associated with jujus.
So many people all over the world will identify with this name because of the popularity of recent Hiphop/Rap song Juju On That Beat:
We registered juju.cafe

Although the domain juju.com
is in use for a jobs website (and they control juju.net
also), that website has no new press releases since 2013 and within the past year its Alexa ranking has dropped in global ranking from Top 50,000 to 80,000 websites. Thus presumably the business is withering and can be bought out if the price offered is high enough.

Oz
If Uber can be branded to associate with taxi service, then Oz can be branded to associate with “an ideal or fantastical place” for social media and networking.
Oz
/ ˈäz /
noun
an ideal or fantastical place or mythical land
Westerners will identify with this name because of the popularity of the Wizard of Oz movie and the numerous adaptations before and hence such as the Disney’s 2013 Oz the Great and Powerful.
The The Wonder Wizard of Oz was book written by L. Frank Baum who participated in the 1983 Coxley’s March on Washington, D.C. to protest against austerity and the gold standard which was imposing massive deflation. The Yellow Brick Road represented the march against the gold standard and the Wizard was Congress or federal government. The Tinman (c.f. also) was Industry, the Scarecrow Agriculture, and the Cowardly Lion was William Jennings Brian and his fiery speech “Thou Shalt Not Crucify Mankind Upon a Cross of Gold.” Coxley was arrested for walking on the grass to break up that March. The book and the board game Monopoly were a product of a rising passion for social and economic justice which for the fore-bearer of FDR’s New Deal in the 1930s which launched the U.S.A. into the socialism which destroyed the West. By the 1930s, the book lost its political meaning and became a children’s movie in 1939. There’s hidden symbolism in the movie such as the Wizard ends up being only one man controlling the fiery Wizard from behind the curtain, which some of equated to the powers-that-be that control the government (and Federal Reserve central bank) from behind the curtain. Sadly, there were also horrors in the production of the movie.

Estibot (valuate) estimated the price of $3,200,000 but that seems high given the actual use of domain currently although two letter domains justify a premium.

CRED / Credom
We purchased the domain name cred.me
before Verify publicly announced their project would use CRED as their token name. I put that project on notice that we might proceed with the use of the name. We haven’t decided whether to proceed with that name. We haven’t yet purchased the CRED.net
domain name is for sale with a minimum bid offer starting at $10,000. It looks unlikely that we could obtain CRED.com
. I like the concept of credibility and artistic Street Cred. I like that the domain, project name, and token name would all be the same so that word-of-mouth adoption would be facilitated. The one syllable name which is easily to pronounce and spell is also very favorable. And it’s one letter shorter than STEEM. Disadvantages are it connotates credit and debt to some people. And emphasis is on remuneration and/or accrediting as opposed to generalized social networking benefits. There’s also an extant BitBounce project with a CREDO token name.

NOOS(sphere)
We have registered no-os.net
, no-osphere.com
, noos.network
, no-os.us
, and noosphere.network
for $30 total.
We haven’t yet decided whether to purchase noosphere.net
for $649 because we’re undecided whether it would be better to focus on the shortened name NOOS which would also be the token name. Also noosphere.com
might already be in use. My guess is that NOOS.com
is available for sale at some price although I haven’t inquired. Estibot (valuate) estimated the price of noos.com
to be greater than $0.5 million. An alternative variant idea which we haven’t registered is noos.is
(yet that sounds very similar to extant project Gnosis).
i think cred is better but as you mentioned it may not translate in to all the use cases this project may encompass. seems to me cred is mainly a unit of trustworthyness. noos can take that meaning on also as it gets popular. sorta like google (not the other [googol] spelling anyway) means search now instead of a mathamatical term. noos also has the advantage of being more or less unique as far as the general population is concerned. we can make it mean anything. cred already as a more or less set in stone definition. not sure if that is an advantage or not.
Also CRED (as in CREDO and Credom) is cartoonish. NOOS is more intellectual, abstract, and nebulous ethereal (isn’t that what we really want?). And I agree it is plausible to be used as a verb, as in “noos it” but kinda weak as a verb compared to “google it”.
OTOH, noos is not as easily spoken. CRED crisply comes off the tongue.
However, if you asked me which site I could remember as a place to go spread and attain knowledge (blogging, wikis, discussion) I would remember NOOS more than CRED. It stands out more as unique and associates more with knowledge. Yet I hate the way it sounds as one syllable. I prefer to say no-os. Noose (nous) sounds like something I will use to hang a person by their neck.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noosphere
The noosphere is the sphere of human thought. The word derives from the Greek νοῦς (nous "mind") and σφαῖρα (sphaira "sphere"), in lexical analogy to "atmosphere" and "biosphere". It was introduced by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin in 1922[4] in his Cosmogenesis.
In the theory of Vernadsky, the noosphere is the third in a succession of phases of development of the Earth, after the geosphere (inanimate matter) and the biosphere (biological life). Just as the emergence of life fundamentally transformed the geosphere, the emergence of human cognition fundamentally transforms the biosphere. […] The noosphere is therefore as much part of nature as the barysphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere. As a result, Teilhard sees the "social phenomenon [as] the culmination of and not the attenuation of the biological phenomenon." These social phenomena are part of the noosphere and include, for example, legal, educational, religious, research, industrial and technological systems. In this sense, the noosphere emerges through and is constituted by the interaction of human minds. The noosphere thus grows in step with the organization of the human mass in relation to itself as it populates the earth. Teilhard argued the noosphere evolves towards ever greater personalisation, individuation and unification of its elements.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noos
In the Aristotelian scheme, nous is the basic understanding or awareness which allows human beings to think rationally.
The emergence of the human mind is considered to be one of the five fundamental phenomenons of emergent evolution. […] Development of an individual mind (ontogenesis ) […] Appearance of the Global Intelligence concept

We registered links.cafe
for $7 total.
The domain links.com
has never been seriously used throughout its 18 year history. The domain was offered for sale at an original asking price of $500,000 with a minimum offer of $200,00 as of February 2001 by Richard Finkelstein. The asking price was increased to $1.2 million as of February 2011, then increased again to €1.3 million as of July 2017. In [October 2017)(https://web.archive.org/web/20171004134059/http://www.links.com:80/) the asking price and offer to sell was removed from the website. I believe (the Jewish I presume) Mr. Finkelstein is a bit unrealistic because the domain while being premium, isn’t the most ideal fit to the type of social media and networking sites which could pay a $million for a domain. He should sell at a more reasonable price before decentralized ledgers and/or the Chinese disrupt the .com
monopoly. He probably doesn’t realize that the value is peaking or has peaked already because of disruption on several fronts including the devolution of Western civilization and the rise of China which may prefer a non-English spelling of .com

Anything related to anarchy will not be good for mass adoption. The idea of anarchy frightens the average user.
What do we mean by mass adoption? Do we mean an initial critical mass of 1 million daily users of the site, which would less than 0.25% of Facebook’s usership.
We’re not initially targeting the average user. We’re targeting the indie publisher (blogger, video, games dev, etc) who wants to eliminate the middleman. And the users who consume their content.
However Jeff Berwick of anarchast.com
might not be too thrilled with someone using a name that differs by only one letter, unless perhaps he was bought out and/or felt he could earn much more by publishing on the new social network. My opinion is anarcast
is a better name than anarchast
for a content media site (i.e. the ‘cast’). Jeff is emphasizing the ‘anarchy’.

Cha-Ching / Ka-Ching
This name emphasizes the money making aspect of the social networking rewards. It’s readily understood in many nations due the cash register jingle and Mr. Krab in Sponge Bob cartoons.
We registered cha-ching.cloud
, cha-ching.co

is registered by the Cartoon Network:
JAMBOX
This was the idea I had in 2015 before Steem was created. All these hand-drawn sketches on this page are mine. This idea is probably most applicable to music and games.
We registered jambox.org
, jambox.us
, funbits.org

for $28 total.
The domain jambox.com
redirects to soundforce.com
so either it can be purchased if the price offered is high enough, otherwise the .org
TLD is sufficient for a Google ranking given the .com
isn’t relevant to the search term “jambox”.
Oasis
Our fertile enclave, sanctuary, or haven from the desert of the powers-that-be.
We didn’t register any domain for this idea yet. The domain oasis.com
is in use by some marginal dating site, but oas.is
appears to not be in use and thus presumable for sale at a high enough price. Also oasis.net
is offered for sale for the price of $10,000.

Virgin hardware because the “wingnut” is on the male side:
Too bad you do not really get any feedback, for such an elaborated study.
I am going to be honest. The only 2 names that I think can work are Yak and Mosh. They are short and have a distinguished sound to them.
Apart from the conotation of Mosh with hard rock and punk rock, I would go for that one. Because you know how to relate Mosh with social and you clearly know how to brand something. And Mosh could be used as a slang for Money, and that can also be used in the branding. Mo-neyzzzz to Mo-sh. Just an idea...
Yak is also a possibility but could be close to Yuk... So my choice goes to Mosh. And from what I am reading, I think you are leaning towards that one too.
Sincerely,
Pele23
So I presume you prefer
mosh
as the monetary token instead of my proposal forcred
?But have you contemplated the purpose and use of this proposed token? Users will be onboarding onto various applications built on the decentralized ledger such as blogging, video sharing, Q & A site, etc.. They will accumulate more of these tokens for their activity on the apps. My thought is the tokens would represent credibility and credit (not debt but merit) on the site. Do you prefer
mosh
because it shares the first two letters ‘mo’ with ‘money’? But we’re not primarily creating an electronic money for general use, as the first priority focus. Scaling a currency to general use requires years or decades. The near-term use of the token is within the apps (and presumably for speculation).Another issue is do we want to use the same name (e.g. Mosh) for all the possible applications that can leverage the decentralized ledger? I think probably not. My thought is we want names best fit for each application, e.g. the Steem blockchain has Steemit and Busy for blogging, Dtube and Dlive for video sharing, etc..
So my thought is Mosh would be a good name for music sharing but it wouldn’t be a good name for a blogging site. Do you disagree?
For the token names I considered, I ranked
yak
as #10. So I also don’t like it as name for money. It is sort of catchy, but has bad connotations as you noted and there are better choices. Why do you not likecred
ormojo
? It seems to me that both of those have meanings which associate with merit or power. Whereas, mosh
doesn’t have any establish meaning which associates with anything related to money. Do you likemosh
because it is abstract, different, disruptive, and rebellious? I do too. That is why I like the name Unglued for a video sharing site (“unglued from mainstream TV”), but I want to read what others think about that? And because it has no established meaning such as the magical power of Mojo?Note rebellious concepts may turn off some females and some in the mainstream of society. I suspect females like Steem because of the positive notion of esteem. Steem was the first crypto project with significant female adoption. The name Mosh may be very masculinity targeted. I hope can get some feedback from the ladies on Steem.
You have a point in all what you say. But are you sure Cred hasn't been used for a concept like this before?
Different names for different features is not bad, but I wouldn't use too many, it could become quite confusing. When I first came here, it was like a maze, and it took me months to get everything figured out, with Steem, Steemit, Dlive, Dtube, Dmania, Busy, Esteem,... I know for a fact that this puts lots of people off, for joining Steem(it)...
I know it is hard, but you should be able to get a link (namewise) in between the different platforms and features of your network, to get user friendliness at a high.
But you are correct that Cred sounds better than Mosh. But with good marketing a name can be associated with anything. I really liked the sound of Mosh, but I get your reasoning.
Greetings, Pele23
Akaik, nothing in a big way that would compete with us rolling out with it to hopefully a larger-scale adoption. If anyone knows of any such conflict, I would appreciate if they would post here.
As I wrote in my blog, I’m aware that Verify and Credo named their token CRED but I expect that project to fade away and it’s already one of the 100s of ostensibly illegal ICOs.
I agree that is confusing. One potential improvement to perhaps make it easier is if the main portal website (e.g.
credom.com
orcred.net
) keeps a wiki list of the apps and descriptions of what they do. So the users can then go to the portal to familiarize themselves. If the portal is also decentralized, i.e. anyone can contribute to the wiki, then there it can’t be alleged that there is centralized control. As for preventing vandalism or discord at the wiki, that is where my design for decentralized rankings comes in (I will not describe that in detail now). Or an elected foundation could maintain the portal, but democracy is always centralized.Typically users will be arriving at an app because they like the content or concept and want to join, e.g. arriving at Steemit for blogging and Dtube for video sharing. And for our project that might be Candid for the blogging, Unglued for the video sharing, YaketyYak for a discussion site, Grok for a Q&A site, and Mosh for music sharing. If they want to signup, they’re be directed to the decentralized ledger portal, e.g.
credom.com
orcred.net
if they want free tokens from the faucet signup process. Some of the confusion you mention is being caused by the competing names, e.g. Busy is a clone of Steemit and Dlive is a clone of Dtube apparently without the 25% fee. As I said I have a design for curation which will squelch the discord and confusion by algorithmically (automatically with an option for individual manual override) detecting like-mindedness amongst curators.
I don’t think it works to have a music app and a blogging app in the same UI and thus using the same site name. A music app will have a much different format. You could put all the apps under the same site name, but then you have centralization, which is one of the bad things we’re trying to disintermediate. Decentralized competition will advance the state-of-the-art faster.
I think Mosh would be great for the music site on the Credom or Cred decentralized ledger. Hopefully Mosh would become very popular and cause much adoption of the Credom (aka CRED) system.
OTOH, I do get your point about unifying around one name. And Mosh is appealing to males, but that reinforces the point that one-size-fits-all causes discord. I think I get your implied point which is CRED sounds vanilla and rehashed. Mosh seems avant-garde.
Mosh could be confused with ‘mash’ and ‘mush’, yet Cred could be confused with ‘crud’.
P.S. You have reminded me (of an issue I had noted before) why it’s probably deleterious to introduce yet another name Credom (in addition to the token name
cred
) and instead better to use Cred for the portal site name. We already purchasedcred.me
.Good to know, I have helped you in a little way. Good luck with the project, and I am following you now, so I can see the progress! I wish you the best.
Your feedback combined with @heavyd’s comment has generated a unifying idea.
Good for you man, I am quite curious!
Please note a new discussion which is about I added to the blog the name choices: Illume, Gist, and Knugget.
cred.me!!! that's a cool site name
Please note a new discussion which is about I added to the blog the name choices: Illume, Gist, and Knugget.
Credom sounds very cool. I also like the idea of cred as a token, sounds like you have to earn it.
Mosh does have a nice tone to it, and depending on the the logo, it wouldn't necessarily have to appeal to just men. I think you could "fem" or cartoon it up a bit without loosing the male appeal, while gaining much more female ones.
I agree yak makes for a bad token, but it's a nice name for a blog/miniblog/or really any communication type thing.
I’m not envisioning how we would feminize a punk/rap Mosh meme for a music name nor if we even need to (purple is already colorful/playful). I think it’s not a significant problem though, because women (as is the case for all people) do have varied tastes in music, so we can’t stereotype entirely even though many would like sentimental and fun music. The main point I was making about Mosh being masculine is that we might not want to adopt it as the overarching name for the token because of that punk association. Even if we see females into punk, it’s often because of style, attraction, rebellion against paternal control, and not because of a desire to reorganize the power structure of society (except perhaps to defeat paternalism although I think most women are not hardcore feminists). I think females would be more enamored with promoting positive individuality of CREDibility than confrontational societal organization of rebellion as the overarching concept. Females are typically not as focused on the broad organizational issues as they are on the local issues of life. Both are important so I’m not denigrating their focus.
In summary, I think Mosh is okay for a music system name. Females will go find the music where it’s most convenient to do so, e.g. my gf uses Youtube.
I like CRED the best as a token name. As far as each app goes, I suppose having different names is good, but with a shared token (CRED). That way even if users don't realize that two apps are part of the same overal platform, they'll put 2+2 together when they see that CRED token can be used across various apps. That makes sense to me because unlike most cryptos with low adoption / acceptance, CRED would immediately be a widely used token due to so many apps. I believe that's what you were implying, yes?
They other question is, how important is having different names for every app? It might be confusing. Rather, you could have one overarching name, one token and then each app is just a sub-domain.
Ex) Mosh.video, Mosh.blog, Mosh.storage, etc.
I like Mosh, Candid, Grok, Gush, Crux as names in general. They're short and catchy.
I thought you were looking for a name you have not considered, so I came up with this:
Use it if you like it. :)
I like that name. It would be apt for a decentralized governance system. At this time, I have no design in mind for such a system, but I will remember this and if we ever end up using the name then I will reward you. Unfortunately the
.com
and.org
domains are both taken. The domaincivit.as
appears to be not in use.Mosh may also work for a DAO.
Whatever happens, I hope it works out. I'm glad I was able to contribute something, even a small thing. Thanks!
A shame not to see more feedback so far.
Only just come accross your post and thought I'd begin with simple, instinctive reactions to the suggested names.

For me, I rather see "Cred" as the name of the decentralised ledger than the token. "Sprinkles" came to mind as a token. "Hubbub" for chat?
Hope to see more contributions flying in.
"Sprinkles?" As a token? Uh.. I'm not trying to be rude, but really? I mean if it was for children I suppose that could work, but I can't imagine many invests looking to invest in sprinkles.
Maybe I'm just to old to understand the kids these days.
I get your point, yes. Sprinkles was meant as "a" token rather than "the" token. I think it might have an appeal in the right setting.

How we made $100K trading CryptoKitties
I do prefer CRED for a project that is focused on rewarding CREDibility.
I really like your ideas, I'm just not in the proper head space to be able to think of good names.
I like Cred. As far as Credom, at first I was thinking it's a play on Freedom not Kingdom. It's hard the more I look at it I'm not really sure if Credom will work. But I do like the idea of Cred(ability), as a token. I think I'm just to tired to be of much help right now.
As far as the e-book one, is it going to be a place to sell e-books, or more like a place to publish and get rewarded? I've been thinking of names but, but it's hard to think of somthing with such a limited idea of how the reward system will work(on a basic level at least.) Maybe you address this in prior posts, I have such a limited time to spend on steemit, and this last couple weeks I've been dead tired and a bit under the weather, so it's been hard to really put much mental focus on anything. Babies sure know how to take it out of you.
I don't really have many followers, but I'll go ahead ans resteem this, who knows maybe one of them may have some great ideas.
Interesting the freedom association. I might have also mentioned that in past private discussions, but I can’t remember with certainty.
Credom has some inspiring facets, but I had already explained why I decided against it in my reply to @pele23’s comments.
Both could be offered. Also the rewards in the system I am designing will work differently than on Steem. They will be more like investments in the long-term performance of the author, including investments in that author’s future sales.
I’ve also been dealing with a flare-up of my liver+spleen cysts over the past 36 hours, which is limiting my cognitive energy and performance. Rest and recuperation.
Oh I see. Indeed you will get no sleep unless the mother is handling it all on your behalf and in a large enough house where you won’t be awoken by the crying in the middle of the night for feeding. Any way, please don’t respond on this point here, want to keep the blog focused on point.
The most effort I have ever seen for a steemit post.
Thanks for noticing. I hoping to get some feedback on naming from the community but it may require more time and effort than readers can justify.
I agree. I like mosh btw ;)
Thank you for the feedback.
Do you like Mosh for a blogging site like Steemit or for other apps on a decentralized ledger such as music apps and sharing?
Steemit is the blogging app on the Steem blockchain. So my current proposal is Cred or Credom for the decentralized ledger which people must signup for to receive free CRED tokens, then Mosh and other names for the various applications that run on the decentralized ledger.
P.S. I intended to give you a 100% upvote for providing feedback, but my mouse is dying and automatically double-clicked with my setting at 5%.
What differs CRED from the STEEM blockchain ?
That is an incredible amount of data to digest. I'll need some time to think it over.
How is the tech front coming along? There are so many things I love about steem like tax/fee free movements is probably tops. with the only issue I have is the distribution being gamed right from day 1. Sure the developers need a decent chunk of the pie for their efforts but steemit has been dishonest from the start and continues to this day!
I still enjoy the friendships & communities that have sprung up around it and will continue to use it for that reason.
I'm very interested is your project and will be happy to become an early adopter. Are you planing on dusting off the steem program with a restart or starting from scratch?
Do you have a mailing list for people interested can stay up to date on beta release for testing etc.... I don't want to get busy with something else and miss the launch.
Bitcoin would be so much better if anyone using it had a chance at solving a block by just having a wallet open to secure the network and use the coin. Any program that comes along making mining useless will be a dream come true. Maybe a lottery type distribution or a system that can't be gamed to death. Just having a solid currency to use and invest in with zero fees and huge accounts having no more power over the system any any other will be needed some day. I know good people are working on it that already have riches and want to see others free from thier slavery to controlled currency just like Satoshi did. I wonder if he even dreamed of mining farms? or how he would have corrected this issue.
Exciting times ahead. Little by little we shall get there.
Thanks for your time and effort in moving us in the right direction. :-)
Cheers
A detailed post, an impressive name sometimes takes some time
Indeed it requires considerable time and effort to think of and choose an impressive name. It even requires a lot of effort to read and digest that very long blog post I wrote.
I’m interested to read feedback from the community on which names they personally like and dislike.
Note I have promoted this post not to gain more votes or rewards, but to experiment if the resteeming will help it be noticed by more of our community. Yet I will not buy votes again because I see it generates no real human eyes, it’s just all fake sockpuppet/bot activity. My goal is to attain more feedback in the comments, but so far I am not receiving any feedback on the name choices. Is our community ambivalent or is the post too long and complicated for the attention span and available free time of members of our community?
Hey dude, for what it’s worth I reckon you’re on a winner with CRED. It lends itself to all manner of catchy play-on-word off-shoots and addendums that could point to various aspects of what you’re putting together. https://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/words-containing/cred.html. Also like the idea of CREDtalks - as opposed to you know what. In any event, good luck with it - awesome sounding project.
Thanks for the feedback and positive vibes.
