They saw the potential in Bitcoin and they probably made huge amount. Everyone that invested / had confidence in the Bitcoin project from the beginning earned big. They are all smart people. Honestly I had people asking me whether they should invest in BTC but I was skeptical about it and I said its risky so they didn't and the price wasn't very high. When the price came close to 20k I was thinking how much they would profit if they invested :x

The point of this is that crypto is something very beautiful but weird and unknown in the same time.
