Apple Accepts Dash As a Digital Currency

As Digital Currencies move closer to becoming more mainstream, a recent announcement by Apple has got many crypto-enthusiasts excited. Particularly those who mine, hold, and support Dash. A recent decision by Apple to to allow Dash entry into the App store including applications that integrate the currency was approved.

This is truly a special occasion and a milestone for crypto-currencies because acknowledgement by one of the leading tech companies is recognition that digital currencies are inching ever closer to wider acceptance and possibly entry into development for easier to use and more widely available applications.

Apples acceptance of Dash legitimizes the currency as one one of the major players along with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Steem, Litecoin and Various other crypto-currencies given the amount of scrutiny and due diligence required to pass Apples stringent review process. CEO of Dash - Ryan Taylor has said:

Now that Dash is an Apple-approved digital currency, we are able to offer our users an officially endorsed wallet option. Our users can confidently use Dash wallets that are maintained, officially supported, and known to be safe.

This is true because now Users can feel confident that they are using an approved product that is reviewed by a well known entity and issued by the developer themselves. An official iOS compatible Dash Wallet, built by the Dash Core team, is now available for download on the App Store.

Unsurprisingly as a result of this news, Dash prices went soaring. Any application in the iOS App Store can now integrate Dash functionality without any concerns, and because of this announcement, we could see the Dash price rocketing past $200 and beyond.

Dash Currently sits in the #5 spot with a marketcap valued at roughly $1.4 Billion. It now joins an exclusive group of currencies that have found support and acceptance on Apples App Store. With it's acceptance, the Dash team has committed to injecting additional resources and funds into developing and improving the App further.

It looks like Sunny Days for the Dash team and Crypto as a whole!
