The regulatory organs have the power to undermine cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and other crypto's by forcing regulations that make it illegal to use them. With the penalty to send people to jail who do use them.

They do and I'm grateful I live in a country where laws get discussed and voted on before such draconian measures are taken.
