What’s Happening to Cryptocurrencies!

First of all, I think that everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax. Anyone who has been in the crypto-currency space for any period of time knows that it is extremely volatile and that there are going to be lots of corrections. Why? Because governments are still trying to understand the implications of how crypto-currencies are affecting their official government currency. As more individuals begin to move money to these new currencies, governments are realizing that they need to figure out how they plan to regulate and control these transfers in their perspective counties.

This is what I see currently happening. A combination of market corrections as some investors take their profits and run, and some governments making announcements that they are beginning to look at how they may regulate cryptos. All this news has some in the market worried and some very concerned so you see lots of selling going on.

Personally, I’m not worried about these temporary price corrections and I anticipate that most cryptos will begin to slow start to go back up in the next few days and week. I see this as an opportunity for those that want to get into the market to go out and purchase some while the prices are low and have not yet started to climb back up. Remember that uncertainty is not a good thing and right now there are a lot of speculators that are worried about their investments and some are dumping their holdings.

Those who are interested in holding some of their cryptos for the mid and long term have a great opportunity to get in and get some great deals this year. Both Ethereum and Bitcoin look like they have already started to climb back up! I'm looking at IOTA, Ripple, and Litecoin to all start to climb back up as well. But remember, that crypto-currencies are very speculative so please do your own research and only invest amounts that you are willing to lose.
