So, yesterday I decided to invest in the new and upcoming Nimiq network. It's basically the first ever browser based blockchain that enables you to mine the nimiq(NET) straight from your browser. To put it into perspective, you simply visit the website click the testnet button and the browser immediately starts mining also, it creates a wallet within the browser itself to store the tokens. Therefore, there's no need to download any desktop or mobile wallet which is the major USP of this coin. So as you can see, this is a very revolutionary concept they've decided to develop and they're not even reluctant to share they're project progression and are very transparent on Youtube (Which if you've noticed, not a lot of projects do).

Currently, it's only at a testing stage and the main net will be launched in December 2017, which if all goes well, should see the token rocket in price (For all those looking for a quick profit). Unfortunately, the ICO has ended but not to worry, the initial pricing of the coin was around £1.21 and now currently stands at about £1.15 on liqui.io. So, if you're interested in investing in a very unique and pioneering technology, look no further than nimiq. The ERC-20 tokens are temporarily being listed for the testnet as NET but once the mainnet has launched in December they'll be transferred to NIM's, which will be the actual coin. Storing wise, I'd recommend MyEtherWallet, and opt for the offline option.

The token price had a better entry point after the ICO but has risen lately (up to 2x from $0.60 to $1.20+). December is approaching - with the expected launch of the main net by then - and with the rising tide in cryptocurrency-land, perhaps not a bad time to start accumulating.
