Need to Know Litecoin and Bitcoin facts.
Most crypto traders know who Charlie Lee is, but did you know he has a brother , Bobby Lee. He is the CEO of BTC China. They both started when Bitcoin was young. Charlie noticed some things that could be improved on the bitcoin model and started Litecoin. One of the flaws is, Anyone can create a coin. You don't know who has enough coins,purchased at just a few cents, could sell it all off and bring the coin down. Also you don't know if the developer himself set himself up with an obsceen amount of tokens. There are a lot other things, but you have to be able to turn them into goods. For now Bitcoin, Litecoin, Etherium, and BitcoinCash are available through coinbase. And you can have your US.dollars deposited into your bank account. TDbank has been reported to have closed accounts linked to coinbase. There are a few cards out there ; shift -bitpay, but now some are having a problem with VISA. UQUID is not serving the US. I am currently checking online savings banks hoping to hit paydirt. we do need options. If you are in the military USAA online is great with coinbase. Please leave suggestions in comments.
Most coins have no function other than an investment vehicle. Lets say IOTA . It was supposed to be linked to Microsoft and everybody jumped on then found out it was just hype. I watched ripple grow 100% a day and I couldn't find an exchange to purchase them through. So, Where were the thousands of investors able to purchase all those billions of dollars of coins? I'm guessing it's hedge fund money. If you ride your investments like a bronco you can use other exchanges and trade other coins.
As a solid investment coin, I believe steem and Litecoin, because I know who the developers are. We know Dan Larimer and Charlie Lee. For me the purpose of investing in crypto coin is earn interest. I don't know enough about Etherium and bitcoin other than they are volatile, and great for trading. I prefer a slower more controlled growth but that's just me
I agree with the importance of knowing the founder, but also knowing the dev community who is actively engage in improving the crypto is probably more important.
It seems to me that btc has lost its way, eth is counting on major future changes that's not yet battle-tested, and even LTC has no real function other than a gateway coin, I am curious also why Charlie sold all his LTC, and what would happen if in the next 2 years, when there are 20 new fiat-gateway crypto, and 10 of them have lower fees than BTC, ETH, and LTC?
My resolve is that Steem is still the premium stable functioning coin. But hey it's just my 0.02cents of SBD.

May I make a small suggession to optimize your returns?
Try giving your Steem Power a rest, you need to give your 100% up-vote a rest for at least 2-3 days.
At full power you can get $3 an upvote, now you are at $0.70, so it's taking you 3.5 full upvote to get the same reward.
Do this for next 2-3 days, upvote your readers 5% max. Then on the 3rd day you can resume higher % upvotes.
You're currently losing 60% of upvote income for yourself and for your followers. I hope this helps :)

Agree the coins community is everything, As soon as one coin goes down all of them will take a hit. The most stable currency will win overall I think because that's where people would lock in their gains. but, wadoweno?

very good post. I did not know Bobby Lee is a brother of Charlie Lee. BTW, You can use Bittrex to buy other cryptos. Almost all coins are available there. Cheers

Whats ur prefer for some investment for future ? which crypto will grow much ?for example (as ethereum at 2015 was 12dollars now +1k dollars)
Steem is in my opinion the most stable currency, for savings and having the ability to earn in other ways is nice too. I lock in my gains with Steem. Most all other currencies are like flying a drone, You think it's under control til a breeze gets it stuck in a tree.
i m starting to being afraid about steem. Many problems started at here. Many times site closed and bot problems etc. i dont know My head complicated
