You want to use one of the official wallets (Webwallet, Android wallet, or Windows Wallet) so you can start generating ANC. Also like everyone says, it is safer than leaving it on an exchange.
I want to start moving to wallets. They are much safer than exchanges. There have been several cases of hackings into exchanges.
