The best way to change steems?

Hello Steemians, how are you?. As you all know, lately it has been a bit complicated to make a Steems / Steem Dollars charge, with a low tax rate. In my case, I usually do the conversion of Steems> Bitcoin through Changelly, since it has always presented the lowest tax fee and a short waiting period. With these sudden ups and downs that have presented the cryptocurrencies (specifically Steem / Steem Dollar) this page has stopped making the conversions of these cryptocurrencies, which necessarily leaves us to make changes by Blocktrades, personally I do not like to change my Steems to Bitcoin by this means due to the tax fee so high that it has, so for a few months I have made my changes is in Litecoin, yes Litecoin; Maybe they are wondering -Why do you change Litecoin? - Well, the change of Steems> Litecoin has a very low tax fee (something very good for us), I always ask that my payment be deposited to my Uphold wallet to be able to change those Litecoin to USD, after having my money in Uphold I sent it to Airtm to proceed with the sale of USD> BsF, Airtm offers a net exchange rate, it is not like localbitcoin or any other exchange market in which you can freely offer. Airtm currently has a very low exchange rate with respect to what the USD market would be.

Given that the Bitcoin markets offered a better USD price than Airtm, I wanted to find a way to convert Bitcoin without losing so much. In search of getting the best possible change, with low exchange rates, I was looking for other change alternatives, searching and searching I found a way to make all the necessary changes to not lose so much money (each USD count); I found a purse that has a fairly low withdrawal rate, Jaxx, but I was cornered again because to convert my Litecoin to Bitcoin in the same purse they asked me for a minimum of 0.52192067 LTC, which is equivalent to 157.39 USD, amount that I did not have , barely had 31 USD to change and I really wanted to make the most of them.

I had to do another search, one that would allow me to get a good change from my LTC to BTC, I was desperate since I had been working for hours, I guess it was the same stress that betrayed me and did not allow me to think straight, so I I went to the first page of exhange that I found, My first mistake, I did not investigate much about the tax fee offered by CoinReform and first I wanted to make sure that the pg was not a fake and I got scammed, so I decided to transfer a part first - if I they are going to steal it is only a part - My second mistake, the page gave me a message that said something like this "Your transaction is below the minimum, make a new transfer above the minimum" at the time I did not think of looking for the tax fee that manages this page, so I proceeded to make the 2nd part of the transfer, I was impatient and I wanted to see the money reflected in my Bitcoin wallet, when it finally appears in outstanding balance I was baffled since it was not the amount I had planned, of a net change of 31 USD, I only received a fraction of Bitcoin equivalent to 6 USD, I immediately started to investigate until I found the tax fee table that CoinReform handles and I could observe that every transaction I made took away 0.0005 from BTC, for a total of 0.001 BTC, with the BTC value that was being handled at that moment (18k USD per BTC) I could see that I had a loss of about 18 USD. So where were the other 7 USD?, the truth is I have no idea, I was doing his follow-up in the BlockChain, in order to see where the loss of money was, I did not find it, in fact, I resigned myself and gave that money for lost.

After a while I started talking with my brother about my experience. My brother also works with electronic USD and he makes his changes with low tax fee, the difference is that he receives his income directly in USD, which allows him to change his money more efficiently. I did not give up and continued in my search, I found a page called Rubitok, which allows exchanges from LTC to USD with a very low fee. After making the change from LTC to USD in my PerfectMoney wallet I can buy BTC by Localbitcoin and then sell it to BsF

After all that I began to think and I realized that I had lost a lot of money avoiding losing money -Ironic, right? -, but well, It’s water under the bridge, are experiences of which it is worth learning something. The world of cryptocurrencies is quite interesting and it is a subject that is worth studying, since for many (like me) this is a new world.

Moral!

Sometimes greed can be our worst enemy. If I had made my change in the way I always did, I had a "good" amount of money right now.

I will mount another post explaining in detail how to make the change, greetings.
